Amelia , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I find the purpose with my work from the people who have benefited from what I’ve done. I feel a sense of accomplishment when people reach out to me and tell me that are happy with my work and they love to see more. I love showing off my city of Atlanta and allowing people to explore it with me through my work.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a content creator/influencer in Atlanta. I was also born and raised in Atlanta. I started my journey back in 2020 when I had the idea of documented the places I explored in and around Atlanta. This beautiful idea that I’ve had has blossomed into an amazing platform. I’ve been able to I can showcase all the places I’ve discovered in and around Atlanta using Instagram and TikTok.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think the skills that were most impactful in my influencing journey so far is being creative, being innovative, and always thinking outside of the box. These skills have allowed my page to grow and flourish.
The advice I have for people who are starting their journey with influencing is making sure you stay consistent. The next advice I would give is to always create your own niche. You never want to follow what other people are doing you want to be in your own lane.
What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
The biggest area of growth improvement I have had in the past 12 months is creating better quality videos. I’ve taken the time to research new ways to edit videos and also new ways to shoot content. This has allowed my videos to come out much better and showcase my work better.
