Meet Amin Lalani

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amin Lalani. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Amin, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Purpose is like a moving target; as you learn new things in life, your target changes.

My purpose in my life changes almost every year, from being a visiting faculty member to a philanthropist. My purpose stems from what I’ve observed in my life, such as people being underpaid due to a lack of education or certification, and many struggling to navigate meetings or business dinners.

With those observations, I am collaborating with institutions and universities to establish a digital lab, facilitate a license application, and equip them with the latest hardware (PCs). If necessary, I will also develop and teach a curriculum for digital skills.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is Amin, and I am the Founder of Liquid Starz Digital Commerce Agency. I specialize in Digital Commerce (E-Commerce) Development and Marketing. I love my work because when I work with small businesses and enable them with best practices and digital transformation, I feel very happy after seeing confidence and hope in their eyes. I offer turnkey services to my clients, both locally and internationally, which makes my services both affordable and timely. Even when I’m asleep, my team abroad is working to deliver websites, social media platforms, ad campaigns, and more, all designed to drive digital business growth.

I am the only digital agency providing training to customers through both classroom sessions and informal meetings. I have been teaching at universities and vocational centers for many years. I now wish to open a digital institute in Los Angeles, serving the disadvantaged community, and replicate this initiative in various cities across the US and abroad.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, I see myself gaining my skills for being well educated not only at university but also in professional certifications like GoToMarket from Harvard, SAP MM, Project Management, and more. Qualities I have learned from my past are generosity, compassion, and upholding our values.

I would say the same to the new generation: be strong with your education so that you may succeed in your lives, and at the same time, look around and see if you can help someone with your knowledge and other resources you have.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m starting a non-profit organization to launch an institute and an education consultancy. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by equipping individuals and institutions with the latest digital and soft skills, including:

– Digital skills courses
– Workplace simulations
– Workplace etiquette
– Teamwork
– Critical thinking

Our rigorous training will prepare youth to adapt and thrive in the modern work environment quickly.

I am seeking like-minded individuals to join me in this impactful endeavor. Let’s work together to make a difference.
