Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amish Dani. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amish, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
It helps if you’re also one of the knowledgable/most experienced in the room. The rest doesn’t even matter at this point to be honest.
In my earlier days it was definitely tough not having a mentor or anyone to look up to, that looked like me, doing the things that i wanted to do, But now that I’ve gotten to this place in my career after going down my own unique path, it feels great to stand out and also inspire others.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am the owner and executive producer of FRAMEWORX a creative studio and production company in the world of live and broadcast performances and events.
Our core services are designing and producing the visual elements of live music performances such as set pieces and lighting and video screen elements. For some projects we will even manage and produce additional elements including choreography, styling, and music direction.
I absolutely love what I do. It’s one of the purest creative fields out there that isn’t commerce driven. We aren’t here to sell tickets or albums, our goal is to just create amazing experiences for the fans who already bought a ticket or are tuning in.
Music having always been the biggest passion in my life and this is a dream come true for me to work hands on with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny. I get to make art all around the world with some of the greatest living artists.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
i would definitely say math was a big help for me. People don’t realize how much math is actually involved in the production of creative things. From math that’s needed in design, to the math that’s needed to help manage large scale project budgets and get creative ideas greenlit.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m always looking for new collaborators. We at FRAMEWORX assemble custom teams of contractors that are the right fits for each of our creative projects. This includes Creative Directors, Art Directors, Lighting and Production Designers, Animators and Editors, Video and Lighting Programmers. and more.
We employ hundreds of contractors on a yearly basis, and are always looking for new talent.
