We recently connected with Amos Knoll and have shared our conversation below.
Amos, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I always believed in myself and my ability to make things happen. When I saw as a child old newsreel from WWI and WWII, including Concentration Camps and the killing of millions of Jewish people and many other ethnicities, I just believed you must always believe in yourself because governments come and go and laws are passed to help the power in charge.
The same thing can happen here in America if the socialist-communist party ever gets hold of our congress, senate, and the president. I know it’s hard to believe. An example is Iran. Their radical Islamic goal is to convert America to Islam or kill each one of us. Or take Hamas, in their charter is to destroy Israel and kill every Jewish person. How will they do it? Just look at October 7th, 2023, how they shot, cut off the heads of babies and raped women, etc. They would love to do the same to Americans. Hard to believe in 2024.
As a kid, I did not like my accent, which is Hebrew, German, and Brooklyn Jewish. When I became a teenager, I noticed that people came over to me and said, “You have a beautiful accent. Where is it from?” This opened a lot of conversations for me. Later, in business, people liked listening to me. YOUTUBE Amos Knoll https://www.youtube.com/@amosknollpublishinginc
Today, when I go to a book signing event, people ask me what kind of accent I have. When I get on the podium, I say, “Ladies and gentlemen, to answer some of the curiosity as to my accent, here is the answer. I was born in 1943 in Israel, which is my Hebrew accent. When I was five years old, I moved to Austria, Viena, which is my German accent, and when I was ten years old, I moved to Brooklyn, New York. In other words, I have a Hebrew,g German, Brooklyn Jewish accent.
I guess it’s the uncertainty in the world and experience that forms your attitude, demeanor, and character.
I had many adventures in my life with no end in sight. I learned never to give up and always look at the glass half full of water rather than half empty.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Professionally, I’m an author and love to write books for people of all ages. www.knollpublishing.com I have 70 books and more coming online. Many are completed, but some need editing, proofreading, illustration, layout, etc. Writing books is easy for me because it relaxes me. Gives me a subject, and once I’m on the computer, I let my imagination go, and I can make the story come to life. Many of my stories are related to real life, and I make sure there is an important message behind the story.
Here is an example of a novelette with 802 words. In addition, the book will need a forward, about the author, illustrations, editing, and proofreading, layout, It will have about 50 to 60 pages. etc. (this version has not been edited yet)
I saw an elderly couple walking, holding hands, looking at each other, and smiling.
When I got home, I wrote the whole story in 45 minutes. As for myself, I’ve been married for 62 years.
“FOREVER”
It was early morning, and I could hear the birds tweeting and the aroma of early morning coming in while the gentle sound of the wind was rustling the trees.
I was lying on my side. As I opened my eyes, I saw the most beautiful girl lying next to me, gently opening her eyes. She looked at me, and I could see a gentle smile coming upon her face.
I smiled back, never taking my eyes off her. I could not understand how she got here or why she was smiling at me.
We both looked at each other’s faces with joy and satisfaction. Then she took her gentle hand and stroked my cheek. It felt like silk touching my face ever so gently.
I automatically touched her cheek, and she smiled with a glow in her eyes. She said I love you with such love and passion. I repeated the words back to her. She took my hand and put it to her heart, and I could feel the sound of the pulsation throughout my body.
I thought it was a dream. I closed my eyes for one second, and when I opened them, there lay an elderly woman who looked familiar. She had gray hair with soft wrinkles on her face. When she opened her eyes, she looked like the girl who was next to me just a second ago.
She also gently touched my face, stroking me. I felt the silky touch of her warm skin.
She said I love you. I automatically replies I love you too.
I was confused. I got up and looked into the mirror, and I saw a handsome young man staring back at me.
Then the old lady came behind me and hugged me, putting her arms around me and on my chest. I could feel my heartbeat and her heartbeat at the same time. Again, she said, “I love you.” Automatically, I replied, “I love you too.”
She then put her hands again around my chest and hugged me ever so tight.
The young man in the mirror had changed. He had a receding hairline, a gray beard, and some wrinkles on his face, just like the old lady.
I asked her to please stand next to me. We both looked at each other and saw the reflections of two elderly people.
I said Fay, is this you? Yes, it’s me. I saw you young with the most beautiful smile and beautiful as an angel. All I did was close my eyes for one second, and you were an old lady, and now I’m also old.
My dear Amos, the one second in time was actually sixty-two years. No, it can’t be it was only one second ago.
Time is relative; one second or one hundred trillion seconds does it really matter?
Where has all the time gone? I asked.
You spend your time galivanting around the world. You have two daughters, Tammy and Debbie, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You made a lot of money and lost a lot, and at eighty-one, you did not change; you are still out to conquer the world. I know it’s not the money that drives you because you know you will always make money with success.
The most important thing you accomplished was having a beautiful family; the rest does not matter. You did not take a timeout to appreciate the most precious thing you have: your kids. I know you gave them all you could and did what you could, and the kids always knew you loved them. I know you loved me, and we all love you.
Your face and mine are like old trees, which are the circles on an old tree. Each ring on the inside of the tree is a snapshot of time and the climate, and our wrinkles are a snapshot of time.
When I look at you, I can see you as you looked when we met. This is because when you look at me, you see the inner beauty that is in your heart and soul, which never ages.
Fay we both know one day we will pass away I hope I go first. Now, you are being selfish. Why? Because I’ll suffer and miss you.
Amos, why even think about it? We have a lifetime to live and enjoy our kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Yes, you can write your books and do your part to teach our new generation honesty and integrity before they become jaded and cynical about life.
When you say forever, how long is it? It’s all in the blink of an eye, and we have forever to think about it.

I’m also the chairman and founder of the Children Obesity Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. www.obesitystops.org
We have in the USA an obesity epidemic, “We are feeding our kids to death,” and there is no end in sight. We have in the USA approx. 250 million of us who are obese and or overweight, of which 25 million are our kids with no end in sight!
We are also working on the screenplay for the movie “The Chubby Conqueror.” It’s a book of motivation and inspiration that can be seen through the eyes of a twelve-year-old obese boy. It will be a hit! Why? Because two-thirds of America will be able to relate to Billy, our protagonist, through his trials and tribulations. You will laugh and drop some tears with Billy as he becomes The Chubby Conqueror.
We even have a song for the movie “I’m the Conqueror.” Log into my YouTube and listen to our lead song.

As to my education and work, I started writing my life story, “True Novel.” I started reading it, and I said to my wife that it did not sound real; it was more like an Indiana Jones novel. The truth is, when you live the part, you don’t even realize it. It will be about 300 pages.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1-It was my personality, being humble to people, never putting someone down or embarrassing anyone.
Sometimes, you have to put a person in their place, but you do it privately, treating people the way you want to be treated.
This does not mean that you have to bow down to anyone or take insults. Be strong and stand up for yourself and people
will respect you.
If you are early on the journey:
2- Always give people credit when credit is due; don’t be selfish!
3-You are never too old to learn. Life is one big learning curve.
4- Don’t be a showoff
5-Always be prepared for any presentation you are doing; never go to a meeting unprepared.
6- when people ask you a question, and you are not sure of the answer, just say, “That’s a good point let me check it out and
get back to you.” People will respect your honesty.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Right now, I’m putting a syndication together for five million dollars which includes the movie, books, and toys. My three-year projections are 120 million dollars in net profit.
If you are interested, call me at 561-347-1200 or contact me at [email protected]
A key to any business’s success is its team. “You are only as good as your team.”
The key right now is money. As to the kind of partner, I’m open-minded as long as they are honest and have integrity! If they can contribute their skills at the same time, that would be a bonus for us.
We can also monetize some of their assets if you have stocks, land, buildings, and even artwork. We can even use a 1031 exchange.
