Meet Ampora Yazdani

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ampora Yazdani. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Ampora , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Purpose, a tenet most people believe to be untenable or elusive is perhaps one of the most misunderstood values in life. I know I spent most of my life, living purposefully, but much of the time did not comnected to the fact that I was doing so. Its only in looking back at different phases of my life , retrospectively, did I see the purposeful life emerge. But how to capture the emotion, vibration or frequency of purpose in the now, in my present experience. To feel like my thoughts, feelings, and actions are working together with intention to live my life. Because when you feel the emotion of purpose it colors the experience of living so vibrantly.

I found my purpose through acceptance, curiosity, and in the now presence awareness.

Acceptance, when I accepted that I am already living my purpose at any given moment of my life, purpose and meaning emerged everywhere. What does acceptance look like for me? Well, I was cleaning toilets in my home one day, and asked myself who I am? And my first thought was, “I’m just a Housewife”. Which, I found great resistance to within myself. I asked why? We have a beautiful home, in a relatively safe neighborhood in Southern California. You have three wonderful children.. Your husband is a successful entrepeneur, a business you helped established as a housewife. Yet, I felt shame. Was it lack of modeling? All the mothers, and aunties in my family, married or not, educated or not, worked in and outside of the home. Maybe the patriarchy of it all was burning me up? The idea of belonging or working for the house and my husband as a total sum of the work I do felt demeaning and was causing all these emotions of resistance.

I then asked, what would it take for me to get from “just” a housewife to housewife with acceptance and love. I got curious about my resistance? Could I be living the dreams of my ancestors? These are our toilets, that we own, that get dirtied by my family that I love and love me. I had my first transformative “get to”. Instead of having to clean these toilets, I got the opportunity to clean my toilets. The intention, love, and purpose poured through me..

I started to get curious about all the aspects of being a “Housewife”, from the DEI parent led intitiatives I was apart of bringing to LVUSD, where my children attend school. or the Divine Feminine Lifestyle group I started a year ago, The Salon 7, Cleaning and decorating my home, morning routine before school, how can I make these moments more fun, more present?

All of a sudden I found my life in real time was full of purpose, every exciting and mundane feature, all a blessing, I began to see more and more abundance everywhere. And then it became a daily practice and acknowledgement. Acceptance, curiousity, awareness, which leads to more acceptance, deeper curiosity, and an awareness that brings a peace that is incomprable.

For those that don’t know what lights you up or brings you joy, apply the same three step process. Accept, where you are and possibly be curious about what could cause you to not know up until this point. Without any labels or assigning judgement try on a new style, sing a new melody, read an unfamiliar line. Let your unknowing be an invitation to the adventure of discovering your purpose instead of a sink hole in a desert of unstatisfaction disconnection.

You are already living your purpose, just take the time to realize it and expand upon it daily.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
As fulfilling as my role is within my family I’m inspired to share how my experiences combined with my God given gifts have informed the person I am today. I believe that we all carry a bit of Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energy within us. However, it’s the Divine Feminine energy that I would describe as “flow” or “high-frequency” living. We all have experienced this flow regardless of gender. We wake, we are filled with gratitude, have a great meditative or reflective morning, focused and connected to our goals and abundance and synergy and we are attracting more and more of it.. until smack! We get knovked out of it, someone cuts us off on the freeway, we don’t get acknowledged at work, and our spouse is mean to us, all of a sudden, poof its gone and we feel stuck again. But what if there was a way to maintain it?

I believe that woman have always been vessels of bringing the unmanifested into reality. Our experiences as women allow us to connect with this “flow” more easily, What if we shared our messages with each other as a modality of healing?. So i chose women from my life that have one time or another poured into me with their message. of inspiration, hope, clarity and purpose. For the last year and a half we have met almost monthly to do all kinds of spiritual emotional work together to align ourselves with the Divine Feminine energy, so that we may remain in flow.

We’ve done three part breath workshops. brought to us by the wisdom of Eleanor McCoy. Shadow work, lightwork, guided meditations, inner child work , chakra balancing to name a few of the modalities we’ve explored together. We are creating an online community resource/store, where people can find free and for cost resources from the Salon and the broader community. For example, from our site you might find links to a Medical Reiki practitioner, a sound bath healer, a yoga studio and a Sunday morning church service we like or reccomend. As well as exclusive content from us, like our guided interactive journal/workbook. My experiences have led me to believe it’s not one modality that is hoing to create a lifestyle, but a varied experience with the throughline intention of expansion, contraction, healing and transformation, so we are not about one practice or spiritual sect or faith, but an inclusion and intersectionality of all our parts. Then in a few years we hope to launch a business model where people learn to form their own Salon’s, host events, and spread our imfividual divinely inspired messages with each other to hold the frequency for fifth dimensional living or Spiritual Emotional lliving through a Divine Feminine Lifestyle. for ourselves and larger community.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three qualities or skills that have most positively impacted my life are present moment awareness, coachability, and curiousity.

When I read Eckhart Tolle’s book the Power of Now 20 years ago and subsequent book, A New Earth, it completely shifted my reality. I am the only survivor of my nuclear family at 44 years old. My father died when I was 8, mother at 15, and lastly my brother when I was 35. I’ve known my share of loss, trauma and pain, but the now, present moment awareness offers me the opportunity to not be chained by the past, nor bound by the anxieties of tomorrow. It offers the love of the family I created now.

Curiousity allows me to explore the present moment with the wonder of a child, Finding gratitude behind every corner, abundance is everwhere when you can actually see it, Being curious about what I already have makes me feel blessed, inspired and creative. Now life is full of possibility.

Lastly, being coachable is so important because once you’ve created so much space with presence and curiousity, what will you do with it all? Be open, learn sometjing new, read a book, listen to sage advise. You will grow and learn exponentislly in this fashion.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest area of growth in the last year has been in embodying courage. To face the things i’ve been hiding or dimming from my whole life. We are all fashioned with gifts that we came into the world to share. Many times our adversities and challenges are designed to hone or refine those gifts. But society and then unfortunately ourselves begin to echo the difficulty of the thing(s) instead of the solidity of the gift we bring to dismantle or heal the the thing, trauma or pain. My vulnerability is courage, so is my shame, so is my light and inspiration, no tenet less valuable than the other. I realize that the biggest flex is being courageous enough to speak my truth, share my wisdom, believe in my journey, not because it’s fabulous, but because it is mine and if I don’t live it, chile’, who will?
