Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
When I reflect on my journey, I’ve come to realize that three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge have played a huge role in my success. First and foremost, in the business world, your image and reputation mean everything. I can’t stress enough how crucial it is to treat your clients the way you’d want to be treated. Honesty, transparency, and ethics should guide all your dealings. Your reputation is a priceless asset, so safeguard and nurture it at all costs.

Secondly, providing an outstanding customer experience has been pivotal in my entrepreneurial journey. It’s not only important to deliver a good product or service; you should also exceed your customers’ expectations and create a memorable experience. Being attentive, responsive, and adding value are key elements here. When you prioritize the customer experience, you build a loyal customer base and set yourself apart from the competition.

Lastly, my “Dream. Design. Create.” mantra has been the driving force behind my journey. I firmly believe that life has no limits, and that’s why I’m so relentless in creating the life I have always dreamt of. It means daring to dream big, taking calculated risks, and crafting a plan to bring those dreams to life. Having a clear vision of what you want and taking action is crucial. Embrace the unknown, step out of your comfort zone, and persistently chase your goals. Don’t be afraid to seek support when needed, always stay open to learning and growth, and build professional relationships through networking.

For those just starting out, my advice is to focus on developing these three qualities. Build a reputation for honesty and integrity, prioritize delivering a remarkable customer experience, and go after your dreams with determination. With hard work, perseverance, and a clear vision, there’s no limit to what you can achieve. Believe in yourself and go for it!

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
Let me share a bit about my amazing mom, Roselande Foreste, who has been a driving force in my journey. As a Haitian immigrant, she faced life in America head-on and worked tirelessly to create a better future for her three daughters, especially after losing our father. Her strength and determination have always inspired me. She taught me to dream big, take risks, and make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. Her emphasis on knowledge and hard work has been instrumental in shaping my strong work ethic. Throughout my life, my mom’s wisdom and guidance have been priceless.

In fact, my upbringing instilled in me some essential values that I hold dear. Early on, my mom stressed the importance of continuous learning and striving for improvement, which has been vital in my professional growth. She also taught me to be financially responsible, enabling me to make sound decisions both personally and professionally. And she encouraged me to take risks, which has opened doors to new opportunities and fueled my growth as an entrepreneur.

Now that I have a young Queen of my own, my daughter Aubrey, I strive to be a positive example for her. Aubrey is already showing her creativity in art and displaying leadership qualities, and I want to support and encourage her just as my mom did for me. My work ethic is deeply rooted in the values my mother instilled in me, and I’m forever grateful for her guidance and support. I consider myself lucky to have her as such a strong support system that helped me overcome challenges and develop the skills, qualities, and knowledge for success.

I have a burning desire to inspire and make a positive impact. I’m thankful for all the positive influences in my life, and I’m committed to paying it forward by also being a source of support, motivation, and encouragement for others.
