Hey everyone, it’s Amy June! Keeping creativity alive can be challenging, but the key is to just keep creating. Here are some tips that help me stay inspired:
Tips to Keep Your Creativity Alive:
• Stay Curious: Always explore new topics and ask questions.
• Create a Stimulating Environment: Surround yourself with things that inspire you.
• Engage in Creative Exercises: Set aside daily time for activities like drawing or brainstorming.
• Collaborate and Network: Join creative communities and seek feedback.
• Embrace Failure: Don’t be afraid to take risks and learn from mistakes.
• Maintain a Positive Mindset: Keep a positive outlook and practice gratitude.
•Keep Learning: Take classes and explore new fields for fresh perspectives.
• Practice Mindfulness: Mindfulness meditation or brain dumping (getting all your thoughts, goals, dreams out on a piece of paper) can clear your mind for creativity.
• Stay Active: Regular exercise boosts mood and cognitive function.

Hi, I’m Amy June, an entrepreneur who made the leap from the corporate world to running my own successful businesses. My journey began in the corporate marketing sector, where I worked full-time until the company I was with was sold. Although I was re-hired by the new company, I felt stifled and unable to express my creativity in campaign development.
During this transitional period, I was also building my beauty brand, Amy June Lashes, and assisting friends with their marketing needs on the side. In February 2022, I made the bold decision to leave the corporate world and focus entirely on my entrepreneurial ventures. It was probably the scariest thing I’ve ever done (I had never not worked a full-time job), but my motivation and self-starting nature assured me that this was the right path.
Fast forward to 2024, I have enjoyed working in the digital marketing landscape, helping dozens of businesses with branding, sourcing, and digital campaigns. My expertise and innovative strategies have earned me a reputation as a trusted marketing professional.
Leveraging my passion for beauty and my personal love for press-on nails, I launched another beauty brand called Luxxe Mani. Luxxe Mani offers high-quality press-on nails featuring what I believe to be the best nail glue on the market, renowned for its strength.
My entrepreneurial journey hasn’t been without challenges. In early 2024, I underwent a realignment with business partners, a difficult but necessary move that has since aligned me with bigger opportunities. I am now collaborating with prominent brands in the automotive industry, a testament to my versatility and broad appeal in different markets.
In my limited free time, I focus on my YouTube channel, Life of Amy June. Here, I share a variety of content, including business tips, behind-the-scenes looks at my daily life as a small business owner, recipes, decorating tips, and more. My channel is a source of inspiration and practical advice for many aspiring entrepreneurs and beauty enthusiasts.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my journey, three qualities were most impactful:
1. Creativity: My ability to develop unique marketing strategies set me apart and connected deeply with my audience.
Advice: Engage in diverse experiences, brainstorm regularly, and practice thinking from different perspectives to enhance your creativity.
2. Resilience: Bouncing back from setbacks and persisting through challenges was crucial in navigating the uncertainties of entrepreneurship.
Advice: Adopt a growth mindset, view failures as learning opportunities, and practice self-care to build resilience.
3. Networking: Building strong relationships within the industry and with customers opened doors to collaborations and opportunities.
Advice: Focus on genuine relationship-building. Attend industry events, engage in online communities, and offer value and support to others.
