Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amy Stuttle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Amy with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Work ethic often seems like an innate trait, something you’re born with. However, I’ve come to understand that when it comes to pursuing meaningful goals, taking shortcuts rarely leads to success. It’s the commitment to putting in the effort that ultimately yields the desired results. What I’ve discovered along my journey, and now deeply appreciate, is that it’s the process of dedicating oneself to the hard work that truly defines the most rewarding part of the pursuit.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
The impetus for Victory Men’s Health came because of a family member falling ill from an over-the-counter testosterone boosting supplement that caused liver failure. That journey ultimately lead my passion for men’s health. I wanted men to know they are allowed to want to take care of themselves.
My mission was to create a clinic where men felt comfortable about having conversations that have traditionally been closeted. Victory Men’s Health has achieved that and we are breaking down old stigmas that have been in place about testosterone, sexual health, weight loss, prostate cancer, etc. By bringing this awareness, men can work towards a more consistent and proactive healthcare regimen for which they 100% deserve.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Education – I dedicated myself to a self-education process, diving into podcasts, books, and conferences that were relevant to my industry. I absorbed every piece of knowledge I could find on potential competitors, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement. This enabled me to develop a unique concept that could effectively address gaps in the market.
Grit – From day one, I never once regretted my decision to launch Victory Men’s Health. Despite facing numerous obstacles and encountering skepticism from others, I remained confident that this venture could be a game-changer for men’s health. I used the obstacles as opportunities to improve, not reasons to quit.
Detail-oriented – Every single detail matters; there is no detail too small. In fact, some of the smallest details can make the biggest difference in achieving success. If you don’t have the time to do it right the first time, what makes you think you’ll have the time to fix it later?
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
Prioritizing self-care is essential before you can effectively care for others. Personally, I love a good workout. I use to own a Pilates and barre studio, so I still enjoy going there and unwinding and clearing my head with a Pilates workout. When I’m facing a mental block and need to stimulate creative thinking, I take a solo car ride while listening to music.
