Meet Ana Reisdorf

We recently connected with Ana Reisdorf and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?
I will say that I have been lucky to not have a huge number of haters or nay-sayers in my entrepreneurial journey. But the occasional rude comment or unsupportive line of questioning, does sometimes throw me for a loop.

The way I deal with it is by letting it bother me for a few days, and then talking it out with my husband or team. I try to find a piece of truth in what was said, as a way to improve what I am doing in the future. If I can’t find one, then I just chalk it up to this person’s worldview or opinion that I won’t be able to change.

But at the end of the day, I know how many people I have been able to help through my services and digital products, so I just stay focused on them!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a registered dietitian turned content marketer. In 2012, I began working as a freelance writer as a way to supplement my income. The demand for content writing from skilled health professionals, like me, grew beyond what I could have imagined. This led to the idea of bringing on a team of skilled professionals to service our client demands and RWS: Content + Strategy was born!

Since then we have worked with dozens of the top food and nutrition brands to help boost their authority and visibility in the health and wellness space. We are now one of the top marketing strategy agencies with a unique team of health professionals.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three top skills were:

1. Determination. I was simply determined to have my own business and carve my own path.
2. Collaboration. I have always had an approach of “there is room for everyone” and this has helped me grow beyond my wildest dreams.
3. Organization. I am able to keep lots of balls in the air and rarely does something slip through the cracks. I think this is part of the reason why my agency is so successful.

How would you describe your ideal client?
The ideal client for RWS: Content + Strategy is an mid-level or established food or supplement brand that is looking to refresh their marketing efforts or needs some fresh ideas from health and nutrition experts.
