Meet Anastasia Fox

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anastasia Fox a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Anastasia, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from two places: the lessons I carried from my background in healthcare, and the many times I had to start over from the very beginning.
When I first came to New York as an immigrant, everything felt uncertain. I had my daughter, and dreams, but no clear roadmap, no English, and not financial stability. Even simple things like understanding people on the street, filling out papers, or finding work felt like big mountains to climb. But step by step, I learned. New York became my first training ground in resilience, teaching me that no matter how lost I felt, I could find my way forward.
Later, life moved me to California, and once again I began from zero. And it didn’t happen just once or twice. I had to rebuild many times. Each new chapter tested me, stretched me, and asked me to rise again when I thought I had no strength left. And each time, I discovered more inside myself than I ever imagined.
AnaFoxBeauty was born out of that spirit. It is not just a business. It is the living proof that even after so many restarts, beauty can rise from the struggle. In my studio, every detail carries that story – resilience, healing, care.
When my clients come in, they don’t just receive a treatment. They feel the touch of someone who has walked through uncertainty, carried her children while building a dream, spoken through an accent, and created something out of nothing.
For me, resilience is not about never falling. It is about rising every time, stronger, softer, and more determined. And that is the energy I bring into every facial, every lash set, every healing moment at AnaFoxBeauty.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

At AnaFoxBeauty, I bring almost two decades in beauty and wellness, but more than that, I bring my heart. For me, beauty is never only about the face, or the lashes, or the brows. It is about creating a space where skin, body, and spirit can finally breathe together.
When my clients come, they don’t just lie down for a facial. They let go. Sometimes they laugh, sometimes they cry, sometimes they whisper secrets they never told before. I hold that space for them. Because beauty is not only what I put on the skin, it is the energy, the healing, the release that happens inside.
What makes Ana Fox Beauty different is the way I fuse everything I know: organic skincare, advanced techniques, and energy healing like Reiki into one luxury experience. My treatments are not just about results. They are about transformation. Stress melts, energy balances, and the natural glow that appears is something no filter could ever create.
Right now, I feel most excited about growing these rituals, my Radiance Reset, my Korean-inspired facials, and even my own clean, high-performance skincare products. Everything I create is with one purpose: to help people feel beautiful, confident, and empowered naturally, from the inside out.
For me, beauty is not vanity. Beauty is vitality. It is the light in your eyes when you feel at home in your own skin. And every time someone leaves my studio standing taller, softer, more themselves, that is the true work of Ana Fox Beauty.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

If I had to choose three qualities that shaped my journey, I would say resilience, authenticity, and a hunger for learning. Resilience taught me not to see challenges as roadblocks, but as stepping stones. Even in struggle, strength is being built. Authenticity reminded me that the more I stay true to myself, in my work and in my vision, the more I attract the right people, the right clients, the right opportunities. And my love for learning keeps me moving forward, because beauty and healing are not destinations, they are living arts. They grow as we grow.
For anyone just starting, my advice is simple. Don’t run after shortcuts. Build your strength in the storms. Protect your authenticity like it is gold. And never stop learning. Success is not about moving fast. It is about moving true, staying aligned with who you are, and finding the courage to rise every single time life tests you.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

The biggest challenge I face right now with Ana Fox Beauty is learning how to grow while staying true to the soul of my brand. In this industry, it’s so easy to chase trends or compete on price, but that was never my vision. I want Ana Fox Beauty to feel like a sanctuary, a place where beauty, wellness, and healing meet. Protecting that authenticity while expanding is both my challenge and my promise to myself.
І am working through this by continuing to learn, refining and elevating my treatments, and creating my own organic skincare line that reflects my philosophy. At the same time, I’m focusing on the client experience, making sure every visit feels deeply personal, restorative, and unforgettable.
For me, growth is not about being the biggest. It is about being the most authentic, the most impactful, and the most trusted. That is the foundation I am building Ana Fox Beauty on, and it is what inspires me to keep moving forward every single day.
