We were lucky to catch up with Anastasia Osho recently and have shared our conversation below.
Anastasia, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
While studying Fashion Merchandising as a sophomore in college, I found myself among friends gathered in prayer, seeking God’s guidance to reveal the unique gift He intended for each of us to use for His glory. The very next day, I noticed a profound shift in my singing—my voice was stronger and more soulful than ever before.
Although I had been singing in church since the age of seven and writing songs, I never considered it as a serious career path. But a childhood memory suddenly resurfaced—at age 12, I was sitting cross-legged in my room, pondering my future. I vividly remembered thinking I wanted to sing for the Lord, only to dismiss the idea as unrealistic. Instead, I declared I would pursue a career as a fashion designer.
That moment of doubt quickly transformed into determination. I began chasing my dream of becoming a solo artist. The first time I performed solo at a local church, I was nervous. I shared an original song titled “Power,” and to my surprise, the congregation erupted in cheers. That powerful response fueled my passion and confirmed my calling—to share my message through Christian and Gospel music.
Since then, multiple confirmations have affirmed that my purpose is to express faith and hope through my songs and art. My journey continues, guided by God’s grace and the inspiring moments that have shaped my path.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m a faith-based multidisciplinary artist, singer-songwriter, actress, and storyteller. I’ve been creating and performing for over 20 years, and my passion is using music and the arts to inspire hope, healing, and faith.
What excites me the most is seeing how people connect to the message in my music. I blend pop, rock, and soul with faith-filled storytelling, and every performance is an opportunity to uplift and remind people that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. The special part for me is watching those moments of joy and encouragement come alive in an audience.
My brand is all about creating experiences that leave people encouraged, motivated, and connected to God’s purpose for their lives. Whether I’m singing on stage, acting, or writing, everything I do is centered on bringing light and inspiration.
I’m thrilled about the release of my debut full-length album, Glad, produced by Jason Norfleet. We’ve been working on this project for a long time, and it’s finally almost ready to share. The album is filled with music that carries both energy and heart.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I believe remaining humble, having a teachable spirit and displaying kindness are paramount in anyone’s journey. I’m always willing to learn because I realize I don’t know it all. I have a mentor for almost every area of my life. I learn from people that are further along than I am in my field. I would also tell folks early in their journey to not chase people or money but to hone their craft instead. Money and people will follow as you perfect your skills. Your gift will make room for you. Also, use the tools available to you. Use technology to your advantage.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m always looking to collaborate with like-minded individuals who are passionate about spreading love, light and life through the various arts. I’m looking forward to working with various Singers, Songwriters, Screenwriters, Playwrights, Directors, Producers, Actors and the likes, that want to expound on inspirational messages of hope and healing.
