We were lucky to catch up with Anastasia Romero recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Anastasia, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

My Journey: The Story Behind TitanKlin and EvendorsVIP

My name is Anastasia Romero . I am from Mexico came to the United States as an immigrant with my three children, fleeing domestic violence and searching for a better life. With no documents or external support, we found refuge at Alexandria House, a shelter that welcomed us during our most challenging time. Grateful for their support, I contributed by cleaning the house while finding ways to earn money, striving to become independent and secure a home for my family.

During the day, when my children were at school, I worked cleaning houses with a kind woman who taught me the ropes. Over time, I started finding my own clients. On weekends, I worked at events with my friend Erlan Redondo, whom I met while attending English classes at Evans Adult School.

My children, who are now in college, have been my greatest inspiration. Despite the challenges we faced, they excelled academically and athletically, even competing in the Championship State cross-country tournaments. Their discipline, dedication, and resilience taught me that no obstacle is insurmountable with hard work and passion.

I eventually earned my high school diploma and pursued business studies at ELAC, where I gained valuable knowledge. I continue to grow through online courses because I firmly believe that lifelong learning is the foundation of success.

As time passed, I met my partner, Emir Redondo, and together we founded TitanKlin Cleaning Services. TitanKlin is more than just a cleaning company; it’s a mission to transform lives. Our motto, “Clean Spaces, Clear Minds”, reflects our belief that a clean environment not only enhances physical spaces but also promotes mental well-being. We take pride in our team of “titans,” hardworking individuals with inspiring stories of perseverance, all committed to excellence.

Emir and I completed a business course with Swann Do, the Women’s Business Center Director, where we learned how to create a business plan, obtain licensing, and develop the skills needed to grow our company. This experience empowered us to take TitanKlin to new heights and establish a strong foundation for the future.

Building on my experience in events, I co-founded EvendorsVIP with Emir, Erlan Redondo, Christian Gaitán, and Elmer Portillo. EvendorsVIP is an international community for Latino entrepreneurs in the events industry. It connects businesses like florists, photographers, venue owners, DJs, bakers, caterers, and, of course, cleaners like those at TitanKlin. Our platform provides tools such as personalized referral links, accessible websites, SEO optimization, and digital solutions to help businesses grow and thrive.

EvendorsVIP isn’t just a platform; it’s a movement. We’re committed to empowering entrepreneurs, giving them visibility, and fostering a supportive community. Together, our team is dedicated to helping others become the best version of themselves, inspired by our personal journeys of struggle and perseverance.

Today, I am profoundly grateful for this journey—from living in a shelter to building two businesses that transform lives. Working alongside Emir, Erlan, Christian, and Elmer, I’ve realized that dreams are achieved through teamwork and determination.

I am the founder of TitanKlin Cleaning Services and co-founder of EvendorsVIP, two projects that reflect my passion for transforming lives and spaces.

TitanKlin provides deep residential and commercial cleaning services in the Los Angeles area. Beyond cleaning, we believe in the importance of improving mental well-being through organized spaces, following our motto: “Clean spaces, clear minds.” Additionally, we prioritize hiring hardworking individuals, primarily Latinos with inspiring stories, to offer them stability and opportunities.

On the other hand, EvendorsVIP is an online platform designed to connect and empower entrepreneurs in the events industry: florists, photographers, DJs, event venues, catering services, and more. Our community provides online tools such as personalized referral links, optimized SEO, and social media management services—all created to help small and medium-sized businesses grow.

What excites me most about these projects is their impact. TitanKlin focuses on physical transformation by enhancing spaces, while EvendorsVIP operates in the digital world, building a strong community of entrepreneurs who share their talents. Together, these projects represent hard work, innovation, and community.

As for recent updates, TitanKlin is growing with new clients and a committed team, while EvendorsVIP invites new members to join our Zoom meetings every Monday at 6:00 am where we share strategies and tools for success.

My mission has always been to inspire and empower others through my experiences and projects. I hope both TitanKlin and EvendorsVIP continue to grow and provide value to our community.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three Most Important Qualities, Skills, or Areas of Knowledge
1. Resilience: My journey hasn’t been easy. As a single mother and immigrant without documentation, I faced enormous challenges: I worked tirelessly to ensure my children could attend a Catholic school and overcame domestic violence as well as past traumas. Every obstacle strengthened my character and taught me that it’s always possible to move forward. My advice is to never give up, even in the darkest moments, because difficulties prepare us for greater things.
2. Discipline: Discipline has been my guide to becoming the best version of myself. I’ve learned to recognize my strengths, embrace my weaknesses, and use both as tools to achieve clear goals, such as helping my people and my community. My advice to those starting their journey is to set priorities, stay focused, and take purposeful action every day.
3. Teamwork: I’ve learned that success isn’t built alone. We need the support of others and strong connections to move forward. In both TitanKlin and EvendorsVIP, teamwork has been essential to growing and making a real impact. My advice is to seek partners who share similar values, build genuine relationships, and learn to collaborate to achieve shared goals.

These three qualities have been the foundation of my journey and continue to inspire me to help others reach their full potential.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities, or knowledge you needed to be successful?

My family has been crucial in my journey, especially my children, who motivate me every day. My partner, Emir Redondo, has been a great source of support, both emotionally and professionally. Together, we founded TitanKlin and have learned to navigate the challenges of business. Additionally, my friend Erlan Redondo has been an incredible mentor, especially in business strategy and growth. Both Emir and Erlan have been essential in my development and have helped me stay focused on my goals. Furthermore, a year ago, with Erlan, we founded EvendorsVIP, an online community that supports Latino entrepreneurs in the events industry, which has been a key step in my professional growth.

What book has played an important role in your development and what were a few of the most valuable or impactful nuggets of wisdom?

A book that has had a significant impact on my life is “The Power is in You” by Coral Mujaes. This book taught me to recognize and strengthen my inner power. The most valuable lessons I learned are that our true strength lies in self-confidence and the ability to take action. It also helped me understand that while challenges are inevitable, we always have the power to overcome them and transform our lives through our choices..

Yes, I am always open to partnering and collaborating with individuals who share the vision of supporting and empowering others! I am looking for passionate people in the cleaning, event, and small business sectors, as well as professionals who believe in the power of networks and creating opportunities for the Latino community.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

One of the biggest challenges I face right now is the need for more money to invest in tools and organic materials for TitanKlin and pay for auditors for EvendorsVIP. I know what my goals are, but time is limited, and the demands of work and editing consume most of it. I’m focusing on managing my time better and looking for ways to generate the resources I need to accelerate the growth of both businesses.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

My mom has always helped me take care of my health and nutrition, while my dad believed in me and my potential. Their support has been crucial in shaping who I am today.
Do you think it’s better to focus solely on our strengths or try to be more well-rounded by investing effort into improving areas we’re not as strong in? Why? Talk to us about why you feel this way and share any relevant stories that might help us better understand your point of view.

I believe it’s important to focus on our strengths because these are the areas where we can truly excel and stand out. If we only focus on our weaknesses, we may become frustrated and demotivated. However, this doesn’t mean we should ignore them. As we strengthen our skills, we can gradually work on areas we’re less strong in. An example of this in my life has been learning to manage my businesses, where my main focus is on leadership and building relationships, but I’ve also been consistently working on improving my time management and tech skills, which were challenging at first.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

When I feel overwhelmed, I make sure to listen to my mentors, as their advice always gives me clarity. I also make a point to go to the gym and dedicate time to my physical health, which helps release tension and keeps me balanced. Prioritizing my personal well-being is crucial because I know that only by taking care of myself can I be more efficient and effective in every aspect of my life.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

In the past 12 months, my biggest growth has been in managing my time and making more effective decisions for my businesses, TitanKlin and EvendorsVIP. I’ve learned to prioritize what truly matters, delegate when necessary, and be more efficient with my resources. This has allowed me to better balance my personal life, professional life, and the growth of both businesses.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

My ideal client is someone who values quality, commitment, and customer service. I seek clients who understand the importance of a job well done, whether it’s cleaning their spaces with TitanKlin or promoting their business through EvendorsVIP. These are individuals who are looking for a team that supports them, trusts in our solutions, and shares the vision of growing together. Additionally, I appreciate those who value honesty, dedication, and teamwork, as it allows us to build long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships.
