We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Andeana Stewart. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Andeana below.
Andeana, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Developing my confidence and self-esteem has been a journey. As an author, I learned to embrace feedback and use it to improve my writing. Being a business owner pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I had to believe in my vision to succeed. Teaching dance and mentoring others has also boosted my confidence, as I get to inspire and uplift those around me. Surrounding myself with supportive people and celebrating small victories along the way has really helped me grow. It’s all about believing in yourself and continuously learning!
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Hello, my name is Andeana Stewart, and I am a student at Alabama State University majoring in Early Childhood Education. I am also an author of 20 published books, a mentor, a dance instructor, and the entrepreneur behind three businesses.
One of my ventures is TINY’S BLESSING, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and care to nursing homes, children’s homes, and foster homes. Our mission is to spread love and joy to those who need it most, ensuring that every individual feels valued and cherished. Through various programs and initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable populations, fostering a sense of community and hope.
Additionally, I run TINY’S TOTS, a profit-driven business that offers a variety of products, including books, clothing, lip gloss, and accessories. Our goal is to empower individuals to feel confident and embrace their unique selves. I’m excited to share that our lip gloss and books are now available for sale!
Lastly, TINY’S ACHIEVERS MENTORSHIP LLC is another profit-driven business I founded, focused on mentoring and tutoring children of all ages. We aim to be positive role models within our community, emphasizing education as a core value. We are dedicated to supporting all kids in their learning journey, inspiring and empowering the next generation through guidance and support.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my journey and initiatives!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Reflecting on my journey, I’d say the three most impactful qualities have been resilience, creativity, and a passion for helping others.
1. Resilience: There have been challenges along the way, but staying determined and bouncing back from setbacks has been crucial. For those early in their journey, I’d advise embracing failures as learning opportunities. Don’t be afraid to take risks and keep pushing forward!
2. Creativity: Thinking outside the box has helped me develop unique solutions and ideas, especially in my businesses. To enhance creativity, try exploring different interests or hobbies outside your main focus. Sometimes inspiration comes from unexpected places!
3. Passion for Helping Others: This has driven my nonprofit work and mentorship. It’s important to find what you’re passionate about and let that guide your actions. For newcomers, volunteer in areas that resonate with you. It’ll help clarify your goals and strengthen your commitment.
Stay curious and keep learning, and you’ll build a strong foundation for your journey!
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely! I’m always open to partnering and collaborating with like-minded individuals or organizations that share a passion for education, community service, and empowerment.
I’m particularly interested in connecting with educators, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs who are dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities. If someone is passionate about early childhood education, mentorship, or creative projects, I’d love to chat!
If anyone reading this wants to collaborate, they can reach out to me through my social media platforms or email. Let’s connect and see how we can make a difference together!
