Meet Andrea and Jonathan Haskin

We recently connected with Andrea and Jonathan Haskin and have shared our conversation below.

Andrea and Jonathan, so glad you were able to set aside some time for us today. We’ve always admired not just your journey and success, but also the seemingly high levels of self-discipline that you seem to have mastered and so maybe we can start by chatting about how you developed it or where it comes from?
The main focus for our business is to educate and inform the community on the importance of quality food choices. Having access to local foods and fostering growing relationships with the farmers, allows us to eat better. The self-discipline is a byproduct of making quality choices to gain positive results for ourselves first and then our supporters.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Optimal health is our daily direction and defined as a dynamic balance between – Intellectual, Physical, Emotional, Spiritual and Social health. We have an extraordinary weekly yoga class on Sundays, a recycle program/curriculum and a proven platform for positive growth.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
-Customer service -Recognition of opportunity
-Ability to communicate effectively

Share your thoughts and ideas with others that believe in your company. Follow your instinct. Find a mentor that’s involved in the area you want to pursue.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
A neighbor looking to get informed and increase their health. People looking to find quality foods, local farms, and a like-minded community to share time with.
