We recently connected with Andrea Knoche and have shared our conversation below.
Andrea, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I prioritize self-care and self-love, and I’ve always been confident with high self-esteem. It’s an ongoing journey that requires daily effort, as growth doesn’t happen overnight. My outgoing and extroverted personality as a Leo loves the spotlight and being the go-to person. However, in my personal life, particularly in romantic relationships, I’ve struggled with feeling not good enough—whether it’s not being pretty, slim, or funny enough. Over time, I’ve learned to work on myself and embrace who I am. Now, I know I’m enough for myself and the right person will appreciate all my amazing qualities. Reaching this level of self-acceptance takes time and effort.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My main focus right now is my podcast, ‘From Mrs to Ms,’ which is my passion project, adventure, brand, and baby all rolled into one. I started the podcast after my 20-year marriage ended in divorce and I noticed how different the dating scene is today. The journey from marriage to being single again inspired ‘From Mrs to Ms.’
Initially, I launched the podcast by sharing my funniest and craziest dating stories. However, speaking solo for hours grew tiresome, so I brought in a co-host. Our podcast gained popularity quickly with the lively stories and fireside chats, but we eventually parted ways due to differing visions.
Since then, I’ve continued the podcast on my own, welcoming special guest co-hosts and experts like relationship coaches, therapists, and hypnotherapists to enrich the content. I’m grateful for how far ‘From Mrs to Ms’ has come in such a short time—the sky’s the limit! You can find all 45 exciting episodes on any major streaming platform.
If you enjoy listening to my episodes, please make sure to Follow and Like the podcast, that’s what helps us to grow the most.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three key elements that played a major role in my podcast journey were trust, fearlessness, and consistency. Starting my own podcast was daunting, but I trusted that my funny stories and insights would resonate with the right audience. Embracing fearlessness means believing in yourself and knowing that you’re giving your all and doing what you love.
Consistency has been crucial in building my brand. I release a new episode every Tuesdays morning without fail, whether it’s exceptional or not. People choose to listen to your podcast because they connect with you, and inconsistency in your efforts can lead to inconsistency in your audience.
If you’re starting a podcast or considering it, my best advice is to be patient. Success won’t happen overnight, so focus on your passion instead of the numbers. The pool of podcasts that can amass a substantial audience is smaller than you might think. Keep creating quality content and the followers will follow
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m always on the lookout for new individuals to partner or collaborate with. So many people have unique ideas and insights to share, and I love bringing fresh content to my podcast. My goal is for listeners to tune in and gain valuable, relatable information.
To keep things exciting, I feature a diverse range of guests to offer fresh perspectives and keep the conversation engaging. If you have an interesting topic that would resonate with my audience, feel free to reach out about potentially being a guest on the show. I’m also open to collaborating with new guest hosts or merging two podcast topics.
Additionally, sponsors can play a key role in enhancing the show and adding value to each episode. Collaborating with sponsors would be a win-win for everyone involved.
