We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Andrea Leigh Cox a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Andrea Leigh , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence and self-esteem were forged through years of being tested online by a small but persistent group who showed up in nearly every comment. Over time, I realized their words were never a measure of my worth, but a reflection of their own inner struggles and unhealed insecurities.
That awareness didn’t make me bitter… it made me stronger, more discerning, and deeply grounded in who I am.
In a world where comparison and envy can run loud, I’m simply grateful to have been raised in an environment of unconditional love, because that foundation taught me to keep my light steady no matter who tried to dim it.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I grew up in Ohio, watching my grandmother. La Golda grow her own food and make everything from scratch.
As a fitness magazine model, I developed an eating disorder, bulimia, and anorexia I later healed myself by adopting a living food‘s lifestyle.
Over the years I have been blessed to work with celebrities and people just like you and I. Yet, I never discriminate when it comes to who I take on, I see everyone the same. I heal people by first cleansing their bodies on a cellular level, getting their diet straight, but also by taking a look at their astrology and helping them clear out their akashic records to create a better future.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’ve had the privilege of learning from truly exceptional mentors along my path.. from my reflexology certification and my studies in Chinese medicine, to working alongside leading doctors in the peptide and biohacking longevity space, and learning from pioneers like Gil Jacobs in cellular detoxification and living foods. The time I spent at True North and the Optimal Health Institute also paid off. My foundation in herbalism, along with my time at the California Academy of Holistic Arts, further deepened that education.
Every certification I earned was guided by teachers who genuinely embodied their craft, and that is something I hold with sincere gratitude.
I always remind people: you are not defined by the plaques or certificates on your wall. However, in a world of facades ~ where actresses promote peptides and individuals casually claim titles like doctor or nutritionist ~ credibility and lived experience truly matter.
What truly shapes you is the wisdom you absorb, the integrity you practice, and the mentors who invest in your growth. Honor those who guide you, give credit where it is due, and treat your teachers with respect ~ because they help shape not only your career, but the person you become.
Bottom line: my clients trust me because I’ve done the work, and 95% of my clientele comes through referrals.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
I would spend the last decade of my life, helping as many people as I possibly could. I did not get into this area of expertise for attention, clout, or to ride others coattails. I got into natural hygiene, living foods, cellular detoxification, bio hacking, and the healing arts to help save animals from slaughter and to teach people that they can truly change their lives! One of my favorite sayings is “your issues live in your tissues”. You cannot have a healthy relationship with another person, or with finances until you heal your body on a cellular level
