We recently connected with Andrei Tone and have shared our conversation below.
Andrei, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I get my resilience from a mix of faith, family, and an unreasonable amount of belief that every setback is a setup. I grew up watching my parents navigate life with grit—never loud, never flashy, but steady. That steadiness shaped me.
But resilience didn’t really become real to me until I stepped into the world of filmmaking. When I opened Tone Films Nashville, my Nashville video production company, I learned quickly that the creative world rewards the brave—and tests them first. Projects fell through, budgets shifted, timelines collapsed. There were nights when I wondered if the vision I carried was bigger than the strength I had to execute it.
But every time something went wrong, something inside me went right. I’d remind myself why I started: to create work that inspires, elevates, and serves people well. That conviction helped me push through the tough seasons. It taught me that resilience isn’t about being unbreakable; it’s about being rebuildable.
Today, when challenges hit—and they still do—I lean on the same faith and determination that got me through the early days. Running a fast-growing production company in Nashville has taught me that obstacles don’t slow you down… they shape you. And honestly? I’m grateful for every one of them. They made me sharper, more grounded, and more committed to the craft and the people we serve.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m the founder of Tone Films Nashville, a fast-growing Nashville video production company serving brands, businesses, churches, and creators who want more than just a video—they want a story that moves people.
I started Tone Films with nothing but a camera, a conviction, and the belief that excellence is a ministry in itself. Today, we operate in multiple cities, but Nashville has become a special hub for us. There’s something electric about this city—creatives everywhere, big visions, big dreams, and a culture that values authenticity. It’s the perfect environment for a company built on storytelling with purpose.
What excites me most is the impact we get to make. Our work goes way beyond smooth shots and fancy edits; we help people communicate who they are at their core. Seeing a client’s confidence rise when they finally have visuals that match their vision—that never gets old.
Right now, we’re expanding our Nashville operations in a big way. We’re investing in more corporate video services, more storytelling-driven branding work, and a new series of short-form inspirational videos that highlight faith, resilience, and leadership. We’re also building a bigger network of creators and niche specialists so we can serve clients with even more speed and excellence.
If there’s one thing I want readers to know about Tone Films Nashville, it’s this: we don’t just create content—we create clarity. Clarity of message, clarity of brand, and clarity of impact. And we approach every project with the kind of care you give something that actually matters.
Because it does.
If you’re in Nashville and you’re dreaming bigger, we’re here to help bring those dreams into focus—frame by frame.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three qualities shaped my journey more than anything else: clarity, consistency, and courage.
1. Clarity
Before Tone Films Nashville grew into a leading Nashville video production company, it started with one simple question: What am I called to build?
Not “What’s trendy?” or “What makes the quickest cash?”—but what aligns with my purpose, talent, and long-term vision.
Clarity is a force multiplier. When you know exactly who you are and what you’re building, decisions get easier, opportunities get sharper, and noise gets quieter.
How to develop it:
Slow down enough to think. Journal. Pray. Ask hard questions. And be brutally honest about what you want your life to look like in 10 years—not just what looks good on paper today.
2. Consistency
Talent gets you started. Consistency keeps you in the game.
There were plenty of days when I didn’t feel motivated, inspired, or creative… and somehow those were the days that mattered most.
Tone Films Nashville didn’t grow because of “viral moments.” It grew because of the daily discipline to deliver excellence—project after project, client after client—long before recognition came.
How to develop it:
Create systems. Build routines. And don’t chase perfection—chase progress. Show up even when you don’t feel like it. Especially then.
3. Courage
Every meaningful opportunity in my life required me to do something uncomfortable: risk capital, trust my instincts, hire before I felt “ready,” expand into new cities, or choose excellence when mediocrity would’ve been cheaper and easier.
Courage isn’t loud. Most days it’s just a quiet decision to move forward anyway.
How to develop it:
Start small. Take the next brave step, not the next perfect step.
And surround yourself with people who force you to think bigger, not shrink smaller.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, I pause and reset my perspective. For me, it usually starts with a short walk, a moment of prayer, or just stepping away from screens to breathe. I break everything down into what truly matters—separating urgent tasks from important ones—and I focus on one thing at a time.
I also remind myself that feeling overwhelmed is a signal, not a failure. It’s a cue to simplify, delegate, or ask for help. Running Tone Films Nashville, a busy Nashville video production company, has taught me that no one can carry everything alone—and clarity comes when you stop trying to do it all.
My advice: don’t try to “power through” every stressful moment. Instead, create small rituals that center you, prioritize ruthlessly, and remember that progress—even slow progress—is still forward motion. Overwhelm loses its power when you regain control of your next step.
