Meet Andreina Haiek

We recently connected with Andreina Haiek and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Andreina, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

For me, self-care is all about finding balance, and I prioritize this in my daily routine. Meditation helps me center myself—whether it’s in the morning to start the day with calm or at night to unwind before sleep. Exercise is another essential component, which I make time for at least three times a week. I also find deep joy in connecting with nature. Walks along the beach, time spent in parks, listening to birds, watching the water, or simply enjoying the sunset from my patio help me recharge. These moments of stillness in nature, connecting with God bring me clarity and peace.

I try to maintain healthy habits, from eating well to avoiding negative vices. Equally important to me is quality time spent with family and friends. It nourishes me emotionally and keeps me grounded, adding that balance that I need in life.

When I became with the idea of being an entrepreneur in 2020, the decision was closely tied to self-care. For me, self-care also means doing something you love. Designing and transforming homes is more than just work—it’s my passion. I find fulfillment in bringing joy to others by creating spaces that improve their lives.

In the end, success in both work and life starts with taking care of yourself. When you feel balanced and fulfilled, you can show up as your best self and be truly effective in everything you do.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

The name of my studio really speaks to what I believe in: creating spaces that are both beautifully designed and thoughtfully organized. For me, a home should not only look great but also work for the people living in it. It’s about finding that perfect blend of style and function, where every detail feels intentional and makes life easier. With each project, my goal is to transform homes in a way that truly improves my clients’ daily lives. Seeing how these changes make a difference for them is what brings me the most joy and keeps me passionate about what I do.

At Haiek Interior Design & Organization, I specialize in making homes not just look better but feel better to live in. Whether it’s a big transformation or just a few thoughtful updates, I always focus on creating spaces that feel personalized and comfortable. I offer a variety of services, from full room makeovers to home organization and even interior design for rental properties.

For instance, with my 1-hour design consultation, I help homeowners who are just starting a project and need guidance on making smart decisions from the beginning. My full room makeover service involves completely redesigning a space from top to bottom, taking care of everything from paint colors to furniture arrangement. For those who need a more functional home, my professional organization service helps clear the clutter and make better use of their space. And I also work with property owners through my rental property design service, helping them attract more guests by creating beautiful, functional spaces that leave a lasting impression.

What sets my studio apart is that I combine both interior design and professional organization in one package, something that’s pretty rare in this industry. I focus on residential projects that need a fresh start, whether it’s a remodel or just a redecoration. And what makes my service truly unique is the personalized experience I offer. I’m involved in every aspect of the project, from the first idea to the final touches, so my clients feel confident and stress free throughout the whole process.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I would say that, as an entrepreneur in interior design, three qualities or skills that have been very important in my journey are perseverance, consistency, and a continuous interest in learning.
First, perseverance has been key. Starting and growing a business is not without its challenges, and there have been moments when things didn’t go as planned. But pushing through those difficult times and staying focused on the bigger picture has made all the difference. For anyone early in their journey, I would say: don’t be afraid of obstacles—they’re a natural part of the process. Keep pushing forward, and you’ll find that perseverance often leads to breakthroughs.

Second, consistency is crucial. Success doesn’t happen overnight, especially in a field like interior design where reputation and trust are built over time. Consistently showing up, delivering quality work, and maintaining your standards will help you build that trust with clients and collaborators. My advice is to remain dedicated to your vision, even when progress seems slow. Consistency creates momentum, and over time, it will turn into great success.

Finally, curiosity and the desire to always keep learning have been fundamental for me. In this industry, there’s always something new to discover, whether it’s a design trend, a new material, or a more efficient way of organizing. I’ve made it a point to stay curious and keep studying. This has not only helped me improve my craft but has also kept me excited and engaged in my work. My advice for those starting out is keep pushing through challenges, stay consistent in your efforts, and always be open to learning. These qualities will help you grow and succeed, both personally and professionally.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client is someone who is truly committed to making a change in their home, either organizing, redecorating or remodeling, and is ready to work collaboratively with me. Someone who genuinely wants to transform their space and is open to the process, trusting my vision and expertise. A great client is someone who is fully engaged, has the necessary budget to bring their vision to life, and understands the value of quality willing to invest in the elements that matter most to them.
My ideal client must be also patient, as projects can sometimes face unexpected delays. Ultimately, I love working with clients who value the creative process, that are communicative and appreciate the effort I put into my work. Clients who share with me the excitement of creating a beautiful and functional space that will truly enhance their day-to-day living.
