Meet Andres Gonzalez

We recently connected with Andres Gonzalez and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Andres , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I developed my confidence and self-esteem by consistently taking on challenging projects, learning from each experience, and celebrating every milestone. Always giving more than asked and wanting to be bery generous with those who surround me.
Over time, that process of growth just naturally built a strong sense of self-belief in my design work.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I specialized in designing and managing luxury homes and commercial buildings.
In my role as a lead interior designer and project manager, I blend creative design vision with hands on project leadership. I guide each project from concept to completion, ensuring both aesthetic excellence and smooth execution, so clients get beautifully crafted spaces that truly reflect their vision.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities were a strong sense of curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to clear communication. For anyone just starting out, my advice is to stay curious, be flexible in learning new things, and always keep open lines of communication. That foundation will really help you grow.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

Zoyi, my foster daughter whom I raised for six years, was both my daily motivation and my constant companion. Bringing her along to job sites reminded me to approach every design with fresh eyes and a meaningful purpose, because she truly kept me grounded in the human side of what we do.
