Meet Andrew Temoche

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Andrew Temoche a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrew, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I definitely got it from my mother. She definitely inspires me and pushes me to my limits to be my best in whatever I do.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I started my online business when I was 12 years old and still continue as a top rated seller. I currently sell comic books, graphic novels, action figures, statues, and more. In the recent years, I expanded as a content creator initially to promote my eBay store, but then later on it expanded to a lot more than just that. Now, I do reactions to movies and TV shows, going to comic cons, and unboxing comic books on livestream. It’s definitely been a roller coaster these past few years. Now I’m trying to expand to market myself in anything press related with movies or shows. I’m also currently in college studying accounting in Los Angeles.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I will have to say the three are communication, confidence, and the intentions to learn. Those are the three that I have to say that helped me the most and I think that goes to generally in any area of work or study.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Oooh! This is a really good question. I would really have to say Marvel, DC Comics, or Disney. I cannot express how much I love those companies considering my whole online persona revolves around superheroes and I grew up on Disney. I actually did try to collaborate with Disney at one point at the El Capitan Theatre in LA but they haven’t respond back to me. I had a really good idea for the fantastic four fan event, I was going to bring out my reprint of fantastic four issue number one signed by Stan Lee, the creator of fantastic four, and it was also one of his last signatures as well. But unfortunately, the social media team never got back to me. Now, with the recent Superman, I would really love to do some sort of partnership with DC Comics. I cannot express how good the Superman movie was and it makes me want to be a better person. If they ever want to collaborate with me, they can contact me with my email: [email protected]
