Meet Andy Daro

We were lucky to catch up with Andy Daro recently and have shared our conversation below.

Andy, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

Optimism comes from the way in which we decide the view the world. I’ve always tried to view the glass as half full, to see the best in people, and to believe that the best outcome will materialize.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Andy Daro is a real estate agent and the Commissioner of North Bay Village, Miami, Florida. He is the founder of The Daro Team at Compass, a top producing real estate team in South Florida. Daro has over 12 years of experience in luxury sales and has been a licensed realtor in Miami and New York since 2012. He previously worked at The Corcoran Group and Douglas Elliman in New York City before moving to Miami in 2014. The Daro Team has been recognized by RealTrends America’s Best as being in the top 1.49% of realtors in the country.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Optimism, always try to see the best outcome possible. The law of attraction will often materialize the outcome you believe in.

Work Ethic, there is no substitute for hard work. Hard work will out produce higher education any day of the week in my opinion!

Faith; believing in a higher power. Following a set of values, and living with integrity is something that cannot be overlooked, and will earn respect and trust from those you encounter.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Currently finding the right balance in life. Between running a team of 9 real estate agents, serving as a City Commissioner, my Condominium Board of Directors, and having a newborn son (8-months), you need to find the time to balance work and family. Sometimes I find myself too stress about my work and responsibilities, that I am missing out on enjoying the blessings all around me.
