We recently connected with Andy Lawniczak and have shared our conversation below.
Andy, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Growing up, I always looked up to my father. He was a hard working man, and did whatever it took to make sure our family was taken care of. We didn’t have a lot growing up, but dad worked hard for what we had. This attitude has carried into my habits and work ethic to this day. Do what needs to be done to get the job finished and provide for my family.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Andy Lawniczak, owner of Precision Auto Wraps. Wrapping vehicles is our passion. We focus mainly on printed wraps to help companies advertise their businesses on their company vehicles. In essence, those vehicles become rolling billboards for their companies.
Just recently, we went through a rebranding from our old company name (Creative Imaging Wraps). We felt it necessary to update our name and branding with something that was very specific about what we do and how we do it. The new branding shows off what we do well, and we couldn’t be more pleased about it. We’ve been in the Longwood area for over 3 years now, and just recently I was honored to be Longwood’s “Business Person of the Month” for September 2024. It’s a great honor to receive this award, and to be a part of this great community.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Vehicle wrapping takes a particular patience. For me, it’s relaxing and therapeutic. For others, it’s stressful and frustrating. I’m truly enjoy doing what I do, and look forward to doing it well into the future. For others who are on their own journeys, I would make sure you are doing what you are passionate about, and do it to the absolute best of your ability. Always keep learning, and honing your craft. Be the best at whatever it is you’re doing.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
There are several people/professions I’m looking to make long term relationships with:
Work truck/van/trailer salespeople: I work with many businesses every month, and I have nowhere to send them if I hear they need a new work van or trailer. This relationship would also bring about opportunities for them to send their customers to a trusted source to get their vehicles wrapped when needed.
Auto Body Shop: Frequently, vehicles coming in have blemishes or body work that needs to be fixed before wrapping. I would love to be connected with a trusted person in this profession.
Marketing Agency: A company that works with helping companies build their brands and increase their marketing efforts. This would be a great connection for their clients that need vehicle wraps.
