Hi Angel, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I grew up watching many of my family members work and retire. However, I witnessed no one following their dreams nor staying true to their purpose. I started working at age 13. There was a time when I worked as a lead/ vault teller at BB&T M-F, Kmart cash office Sat-Sun, and cleaned houses at night. To many people that was having a good work ethic, however I had three children. One day I woke up after conversations with my children whom demanded me to follow my dreams. We decided to build that dream together.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
No Punching Bag Fashion was founded in North Carolina. We are a fashion brand that supports social change. Currently, we are in California. We looking to connect with more like minded professionals. In the past we have showcased in Paris Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week amongst other fashion weeks. California was a big move for us. We work in the LA area.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
No Punching Designer team stays optimistic about our goals and vision. We believe in ourselves first, everyone else is an extra benefit. Always remember your vision can expand. Your vision is not google route to your vision. Your vision is the map, you can always stop for fries. In other words, your vision opens doors. It’s okay to go in some of those doors.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We have rental garments for influencers, red carpet engagements, performers, everyday fashionistas, and more. NPB offers some collaboration opportunities. Our looks range everyday fashion forward designs to iconic MET Gala Ready. We have a team of three fashion designers that can sew, style, design, and more.
