Meet Angel Heims

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Angel Heims. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Angel below.

Angel, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

My generosity is rooted in lived experience. I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate seasons without adequate funds, resources, food, or consistent support. Those moments shaped my understanding of how deeply access and compassion can impact a person’s life. Because I understand the weight of scarcity, I choose to give in ways that reduce that burden for others. Support can be the difference between survival and stability, and I am intentional about being the support I once needed—so that no one has to walk those difficult paths alone.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a nonprofit founder, media company owner, content creator, and mother whose work is rooted in lived experience and community connection. My nonprofit was created from my own journey with housing instability, with the goal of providing support, visibility, and resources to those navigating similar challenges. My media company was born from an unforgettable summer spent supporting and uplifting DJs across San Antonio—celebrating music, culture, and creative voices.

I’m also a very active content creator on TikTok and a member of the Gravitas Q agency, where I share content centered on real life, growth, and authenticity. Music has always been my calm—I was the kid who lived with headphones on, and that love still fuels my creativity today.

At my core, I’m a proud mom to a 16-year-old who runs track and has a growing interest in finance and real estate. I share life with a very sweet, affectionate cat named Lea, and I’m grateful to be in a loving, supportive relationship. Life is full, purposeful, and good—and my brand reflects that balance of resilience, creativity, and joy.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been a strong foundation in customer service, compassion, and grace. Customer service taught me how to listen, adapt, and meet people where they are—skills that translate into every space I operate in, from nonprofit work to media and content creation. Compassion allows me to lead with empathy, while grace reminds me that everyone, including myself, is learning in real time.

For those early in their journey, my advice is to embrace the hard moments rather than avoid them. Growth often happens in discomfort, and resilience is built when you choose to keep going even when progress feels slow. Never give up—your breakthrough could be on the other side of the very struggle you’re facing. Focus on serving others well, stay grounded in empathy, and trust that consistency will compound over time.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

am always open to partnerships and collaborations. I enjoy working with creatives, entrepreneurs, community leaders, nonprofits, and brands that value authenticity, service, and impact. I actively host interviews on my YouTube channel, have access to a professional studio, and remain deeply involved in community initiatives and volunteer efforts.

Anyone interested in collaborating—whether through interviews, media projects, community work, or creative partnerships—is welcome to connect with me directly at [email protected].
