Hi Angel, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my mother. I saw her work three jobs to provide for our family growing up and she never complained. I have always admired her work ethic.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the CEO and Founder of ICONI, a motivational and inclusive activewear lined based in Denver, Colorado. I’m most excited this year about our new collections releasing in the fall. They will incorporate all the best parts of activewear including totally seamless designs, increased moisture wicking and supportive fabrics, and fun color palettes and designs.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Mindset: You have to constantly remind yourself that you can do it while on your entrepreneurial journey. Your mindset can be the greatest hinderance to your success. If you are not truly bought into your brand, you cannot others to be. 2. Organization: It is so important to stay organized in every aspect of business. Yes, sometimes it will feel like everything is in chaos, but take a step back and organize your tasks, your warehouse, your inventory, etc.
3. Focus: Wherever your focus goes, your mind will go. It is good to develop focus areas for your business so you can stay on task and on brand throughout the different seasons of your business.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m looking to collaborate with an athletic footwear brand for a photoshoot with ICONI that would be mutually beneficially. Also I’m always look to collaborate with designers to make ICONI even more fashion forward.
