We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Angel Virtuoso. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Angel below.
Hi Angel , you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?
It stems from empathy first; moving through my heart space and permeating my understanding and experiences of -feeling-, and then it stems from awareness of karma. Generosity is an embodiment because it is successful and abundant through many mediums. Generosity is a chameleon because it is very fluid and it is also an act. To be generous is to do, to show that you are selfless even for a moment. I see my reflection as this. It is very easy for me to be generous because I genuinely want people to experience good things in their lives. I also know how it feels to not have, and just wishing that someone picked up on that, or simply moved through God to offer what I need. Generosity is God’s work.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a very multifaceted person and I like to explore the potential of those incredible aspects of myself without much limitation. I have been primarily focused on Fashion Styling and Creative Directing photoshoots and events majority of my career although I have a multitude of other hobbies and interests. I am proficient in closet audits, Personal Shopping, and Personal Styling. I have been a full time Fashion Stylist for Archangel Virtuoso Studios for 7 years, and this year I became full time with The Real Real. My work and I have been published in magazines in Germany, Canada, France, and London UK. I also have showcased in multiple fashion shows in Paris since Dec 2022.
I produce and direct my own multimedia fashion show named The Black Heart Event as well. This show is about unity between creatives, inclusivity of vast human design, and confidently showcasing one’s own talents. I do so by selecting different mediums to enhance the flow and energy of the 30+ model fashion show that the event is centered around. I aim to connect my peers so we can all have a better quality of creative life and artistry. The Black Heart Event will return on its 4th year within 2024.
I am actively looking for sponsors if you are interested! Also if you have been wanting to produce an event but are unsure where to start, I can also assist you with Event Curation as well.
Some of my hobbies include curating creative projects, modeling/art modeling, dancing until I can’t anymore, singing, songwriting, painting, metalsmithing, learning about art, music, fashion, and active brainstorming.
Additionally, I am the Creative Director for Foursight Shop, a streetwear brand and artist incubator, on Grand Avenue (coming soon), as well as a Show Coordinator for Fit Organics, a Californian health and wellness company that prioritizes educating kids and adults on nutrition and healthy movement.
I feel like I’m on the brink of a ‘rebrand’ per say, but I have been taking clients for Closet Cleanses and Styling! Contact me if you are interested in learning more about my services and I would love to set up a free 15 minute consultation. You are the change!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
3 areas of knowledge that made an impact? Authenticity, willingness to learn, and emotional intelligence!!!
Be yourself, open your mind to receive and discern, and read the room!!! We are all human. Long lasting connections and genuine experiences come from this at its foundation.
My advice is to be a good person, do your research, and make your own conclusions. Oh and never stop refining your craft.
How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is someone who invests in themselves already. This looks like many things: maybe they keep up with self care practices, or workout often, or a fellow entrepreneur. A musician.
I love all clients though, and I especially love when someone doesn’t know themselves very well, or is aware and wants to get closer to themselves. I love this because that’s when the real magic happens. This is when the client really does a trust fall not only with me, but with themselves. I am able to step into a teacher role and really broaden peoples understanding of how to convey self through outward appearance, but also how to take that and transform your inside compositions as well. Fashion is not always shallow, but it is always elite.
