Angel, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I discovered my purpose when I experienced a major, life changing spiritual awakening. My own self discovery was inspired by the circumstances of a very painful romantic relationship along with other challenging and disheartening life experiences. It felt like all of my experiences created this internal pressure that finally cracked my heart all the way open. My deepest pain led to my deepest breakthrough, allowing me to see myself, humanity, and consciousness in a different way. Since then it has become my purpose and greatest joy to inspire others to see life through the lens of compassion and unity.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I recently moved to New York from California, and it’s been an exciting shift. Right now, I’m fully embracing this change and focusing on my photography, which includes working with influencers, magazines, and fashion/lifestyle brands that align with my mystical approach.
What excites me the most is the opportunity to capture more than just the physical— the work I create is designed to speak to the soul. I offer glimpses into a new world that we’re stepping into as a collective. I want to help others remember their own light and humanity. Capturing unity, compassion, and magic is what allows me to give back to the world and help create positive changes through uplifting imagery.
I’ve also been exploring more personal content, sharing my own spiritual journey by documenting my own life. I’m navigating the balance of merging my professional photography with this more personal approach. Additionally, I’m in the early stages of launching a vlog on YouTube, where I’ll discuss deeper topics like the state of the world and self-discovery, providing a sense of community for those interested in topics like humanity and mysticism.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful on my journey include believing in myself, open mindedness, and a deep sense of purpose.
Cultivating a strong sense of self worth, self love, and truly believing in my own abilities has led me to my own resilience. There will always be setbacks, whether it’s self-doubt, external criticism, or unexpected challenges. I choose to keep going, even when things feel uncertain, and that’s because I know that my message is valuable and the passion for what I do is stronger than any challenge I face. I think a lot of people end up walking away from their dreams because of these challenges, but every gift that each person has within is their medicine for the world and is meant to create change in some unique way. I hope more of us remember this and choose to keep going.
Open mindedness is another quality that has aligned me with fortunate opportunities. I grew up in circumstances of lack but it was because of that hardship that I dreamed of better for myself. I chose to open my mind to what could be possible for me, which is how I began to act upon good ideas, putting myself and my work in front of people I admired, and positioning myself to be at the right place at the right time. Keeping an open mind is what helps me to welcome in positive and unexpected ways that it can all unfold and then taking inspired action towards those inner nudges.
The last and most important area is my deep sense of purpose that I carry into everything I do. My purpose has kept me grounded and on my path. I think the reason why we create anything is to bring the essence of it into reality, and with that, there is a message that we are aiming to communicate with the world. Always remember what that message is and use it as your guiding light and you will be sure to find success.
For those early in their journey, trust that everything you’re learning along the way will contribute to your success and that there is so much good in store that is meant to be yours, no matter how challenging the path may feel. Something amazing and life changing is on its way to you right now.
