Meet Angela Jean

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Angela Jean. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Angela, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

For me, nurturing my creativity is all about finding the right balance. It involves being consistent in my creative process, stepping back from my work to return with a fresh perspective, and embracing inspiration from the incredible creatives around me.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m a writer and author of three poetry collections. My first two books were self-published on Amazon in 2023, and my latest installment was self-published at the end of 2024. The most thrilling part of being an author is the moment you hold your finished book; it’s such a special and rewarding feeling. 2025 marks a significant turning point for me, as I will release my next book in an entirely different genre. Publishing a work of fiction has always been a big dream of mine. I’m excited to share more about this upcoming project, but much remains under wraps for now. I will post updates on my Instagram page as soon as everything is ready!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Passion, resilience, and patience are essential qualities. The most valuable advice I can offer encompasses all of these qualities. Cultivate a passion for your work, maintain resilience in the face of obstacles or setbacks, and practice patience throughout your journey.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I’m always open to collaborations. I’ve been interested in doing some co-writing and ghostwriting, and I would love to explore some new side projects. Any type of creative is welcome! If anyone is interested in collaborating, please contact me via my Instagram page
