We were lucky to catch up with Angelac Hess recently and have shared our conversation below.
Angelac, so happy to have you with us today. You are such a creative person, but have you ever head any sort of creativity block along the way? If so, can you talk to us about how you overcame or beat it?
As I sit here and write about a creative block, I am currently in a creative block. I haven’t written a blog post or anything for that matter in months. My creativity with crafts also went by the way side.
But why?
The why is the block. When I really sit, and get honest with myself the why is revealed. These are the questions I asked myself: Why am I writing blog posts? What is my purpose writing them? Is this helping others? Is this bringing me joy? Does this align with my journey?
Getting real with myself and giving myself grace is how I recognized that I was not writing my blog for the right reasons. It was no longer bringing me joy.
My journey has changed and the path I was taking no longer aligned and that brought the feelings of boredom, frustration and honestly dread. I dreaded having to write anything.
There is not one particular thing I did to overcome this block, it really is a combination of small things.
*Doing what brings me joy/makes me excited again.
*Journaling
*Giving myself grace
The biggest breakthrough for my current block is realizing I do not have to follow the leader, so to speak. I can be different and embrace it.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I have been Intuitive my whole life. I knew as a child I was different. I didn’t like to be around a lot of people, it was a bit overwhelming. I enjoyed being by myself reading, imagining myself in these books. I loved anything with magic, being able to cast spells was so exciting. It brought me to another world. A world where I felt comfortable and alive.
It wasn’t until my 40’s when I acknowledged that I was indeed psychic. I had lived my whole life feeling like I didn’t belong anywhere, not even in my own family. I most definitely felt like the black sheep. I continued to hide my interest in witchcraft. I secretly took an Oracle card certification course, and continued to explore herbalism, aromatherapy, and my psychic side.
Last year I discovered human design and I initially brushed it off. Just another interest. It’s funny how the universe works though.
I finally took a course and was amazed at all of the information it provides us. How we are meant to communicate, the reason behind our frustrations and quirks. It really is like our own blueprint into ourselves and it is amazing to finally know your true self.
I offer human design readings, Oracle card and mediumship readings because I want to help others realize their own special gifts. To guide them along their path and stand with them through the process.
I went through my life alone, not being able to freely speak about what I was feeling and experiencing, thinking I was crazy. I don’t want others to feel like they are alone.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, discovering that I was a psychic medium was the best thing ever. I now knew why I heard voices and had visions. I was able to explore this side of myself and not be afraid anymore. Gaining this knowledge of myself, I can now help others recognize and understand the gifts they themselves hold.
If your just starting out on your journey of self discovery my advice is to have patience. Do what feels good to you, not what is popular. The answers don’t come immediately and sometimes it takes lots of research, but it is so worth it.
If you have never had a human design chart done, and are interested in learning about yourself, I say do it. It will allow you to see yourself in a whole new way and bring clarity to how you are meant to shine in this world.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone who is wanting to explore more about themselves, how they interact in the world, fears they may have and why they have them, or why they seem to repeat the same patterns over and over.
