We recently connected with Angelia Bills and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Angelia with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I initially received my work ethic from my parents who worked in service industries at local universities for 50 years collectively. My dad worked simultaneously at a university and for himself as an entrepreneur for 20 years before working full-time in his business. He always told me to keep a side hustle and work for myself in addition to working for others. I ended up following his model in my business.
I also learned from working in the government and nonprofit industries for over 20 years. As a nonprofit marketing executive, I promoted and created public relations campaigns for 50 different programs over a 17-year period. During my tenure, the agency grew to become the #1 affiliate in the nation and increased in revenue by $10 million. It was from this experience that I learned the importance of building media relationships, delegation and multi-tasking. In addition, I earned a Master of Social Work Degree from Washington University and a Consortium for Leadership certificate from Harris-Stowe University where I learned the value of execution and other skills that I needed to launch Eagle Productions, LLC in 2020.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Perseverance, Good Customer Service and Excellence in Execution are three qualities that are critical to the success of any business. In order to be a great entrepreneur, we have to learn to persevere and believe in ourselves during the hard times, provide excellent customer service to our clients and to fulfill our promises to our consumers with excellence.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am currently looking for account executives, graphic designers, video producers and communications professionals who are interested in working for a boutique marketing agency that provides marketing, advertising, public relations and digital marketing services in a business-to-business environment.
