Meet Angelina Everett

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Angelina Everett. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Angelina , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

When it comes to being optimistic I would have to say it derives from God. Going to church at a young age I would listen to the pastor although I didn’t always understand. I would always hear about having faith in God and that’s one thing that was buried deep into me. It was my senior year in high school when my faith had been tested the most! I left home due to constantly fighting with my mom, being compared to my siblings and feeling like I always had to walk on eggshells. I would say at that time I felt like the black sheep. I am the middle child most of the time feeling neglected and other times being blamed every time something went wrong. It could be because of an older sibling or a younger one. This was the first time in my life I really had to persevere in order to graduate high school! I endured so many challenges but I kept faith and knew things would get better! I left home September into my senior year after one last fight with my mother. She was historically indignant that when she hit me I bled and I cried seeing the blood flowing from my nose it sparked something in me. It was that moment I had decided I could no longer endure what I felt was abuse. It was a hard decision because I didn’t know how to take the bus, didn’t have a car, didn’t stay close by my school, and I didn’t even know much about the outside world because I came from a very strict household. I prayed to God like no other spoke to school officials that I trusted and was provided with programs that help homeless students. I can say during that time I had faced so many obstacles experiencing much that I had no knowledge of! From being hospitalized to being on birth control for the first time to help regulate my menstrual however, that caused my menstruation to be on for months at a time which led me to be depressed. I started seeing a therapist and it was then I started recognizing what caused my anxiety and started healing especially because I would constantly blame myself for all that went wrong at home from a child until I was a senior. It was then I knew that it wouldn’t be the end and I would still be able to graduate on time! From that time until now I had never let go of my faith because I understood hard times would come but God is greater than anything I experience! So my view on life is it will get better but you have to keep that mindset even when it gets hard!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Something exciting that I am focused on happens to be acting. I am back on the tv screens! I am currently filming; this show income happens to be in residuals. I did my first audition in 2021 and it landed me the lead role in a short horror film called “Elizabeth’s Revenge.” I am now exhilarated to be apart of a series called “Thicker than Blood” and I will be starring in episode 3 as Sinn a reoccurring role. Being that I have done a lot of music videos which can be a form of acting, I have done a short horror film, in an addition been an extra on films like “Bad Boys For Life” I am beyond ecstatic to have a reoccurring role to show my skills and passion for acting!
Beyond acting I have just launched a new drink catering company called “Dollface Tipsy Bar” where our focus is to cater to all major events and provide bartending services to weddings, baby showers, parties, with hope of reaching concerts and bigger venues one day! We have four signature drinks Blue Lemon drop, jolly rancher drink, peach mega blast and our fan favorite “Demon Time.”
On my free time I try to give back by helping homeless people providing them food, clothing, blankets waters and much more! I am also looking into creating my own nonprofit organization.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I would say some important qualities to have would be networking, staying optimistic and having great hospitality. I say those three because starting a new business can be challenging and even expensive in the very beginning nonetheless, that’s why you look back on your business plan to keep you focused. As long as it is a passion you’re after and not a goal just to chase a bag you will always see through to your end goal! That is with anything put yourself out there stay positive no matter what and that goes into the skills I feel you should work on being consistent, being patient and work on your marketing skills! These three because things don’t happen over night but staying on the right track and using social media and any other platforms to put you or your brand out there can you get you noticed in ways that you would not even know take advantage of such! If you struggle with any of these read books on business, or take a class on marketing, go on YouTube it is some people on there that really just drop jewels for us to take heed of! It’s you in the way of you, understand you are your biggest critic!

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am looking for partners and all people looking to collaborate! I like to keep the content coming with that being said even content creators as well as influencers are welcomed to bring forth some cool marketing ideas. We’re looking for funny and attractive content when it comes to our drinks, how they make you feel, first sip thoughts, party content and much more! I am looking to collaborate with event coordinators, host, and bars. Independent contractors and anyone interested that would love to contribute to us growing as a company to reach many more so we may expand! I am also looking for ladies looking to join the team! Anybody looking to be involved in tailgates, beach parties, pool parties and etc. Those comfortable wearing our shirts while selling our drinks and making a bag! We are also willing to travel so those in different states looking for a bartender that can cater specialized drinks can also reach out.
