Meet Anna Peck

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anna Peck a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Anna, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
Keeping my creativity going isn’t always about big inspiration—it’s usually found in the little things. Sometimes I can be out shopping and find a picture or a floral stem and immediately get an idea, a color that catches my eye, or just playing around with new materials until something feels right.

I love mixing textures and trying new ideas—it keeps things fun and fresh! But what really keeps me inspired is remembering why I started… creating pieces that help others make their homes feel warm, peaceful, and full of heart.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m Anna, the creator and designer behind Created Haven. I make handcrafted wreaths, floral arrangements, and signs that help turn houses into homes filled with warmth, beauty, and peace.

What started as a personal journey to make my own home feel like a place of comfort and healing has grown into something so much bigger. Now I get to share that same feeling with others—one design at a time.

Every piece I make has a story behind it and is created with heart, care, and a whole lot of love.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Design & Composition – I’ve learned how to balance colors, textures, and shapes to create visually pleasing arrangements. Knowing how to layer greenery, blend florals, and choose the right bow or accent gives each piece that signature Created Haven look.

2. Craftsmanship & Technique – From selecting quality materials to wiring, securing, and shaping each stem, Some of the hands-on techniques that make your wreaths durable and professional. I’ve also learned how different materials behave—what bends, what frays, and how to make everything last.

3. Creative Vision & Storytelling – More than just crafting, I’ve developed the ability to infuse meaning and emotion into my designs. Each wreath tells a story or evokes a feeling—comfort, joy, nostalgia, or peace.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
The biggest challenge I’m currently facing is balancing the creative side of my work with the business side of running Created Haven. Between designing, marketing, keeping up with social media, and managing orders, it can be hard to find enough time and energy to stay inspired while keeping everything running smoothly.

To overcome this, I’ve been working on creating better routines, planning content ahead of time, and setting aside specific hours just for creating—without distractions. I’m also learning to give myself grace and take breaks when needed so I don’t lose the joy that started it all.
