Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Anna Scott. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Anna, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I believe my work ethic was ingrained in me from a young age. I grew up in a household where hard work wasn’t just encouraged, it was a way of life. My dad never took a day off, not because he had to, but because he wanted to provide for our family. My mom, while a stay-at-home mom for most of my life, was the definition of selflessness. She made sure my brothers and I had everything we needed, often sacrificing her own wants and dreams to put us first.
We weren’t rich in the traditional sense, but I never felt like I was missing out. My parents’ dedication and resilience showed me that success isn’t about luck, it’s about showing up, working hard, and doing whatever it takes to build the life you want. That lesson stuck with me.
From a young age, I had a deep desire to be independent. I watched too many women stay in relationships because they felt financially stuck, and I promised myself that would never be my story. I wanted to build something of my own, to contribute, to stand on my own two feet no matter what. That mindset has fueled my journey, first in my early jobs and now as an entrepreneur.
As the owner of Unveiled by Anna, a bridal hair business, my work ethic is everything. Our brides trust me to be reliable, professional, and dedicated to making their day perfect. That responsibility isn’t lost on me. I show up early, stay late, and put in the extra effort because that’s what I was raised to do.
I’m happily married, and both my husband and I work hard for the life we have. But my drive to contribute, to stand on my own, and to create something meaningful is entirely my own. My work ethic isn’t just about business, it’s about proving to myself that I am capable, resilient, and in control of my own success. And now, as a mother, that drive has only deepened.
I met my daughter about ten years ago, and while I may not have been there from the very beginning, being a part of her life has been one of my greatest privileges. Raising a daughter has kept me accountable because I know she’s always watching. I want her to see firsthand what it means to be independent, ambitious, and passionate about her work. My hope is that she grows up knowing she can build the life she wants, on her own terms, just as I have. And that, to me, is everything.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a luxury bridal hair specialist and the founder of Unveiled by Anna, where my team and I make brides feel like the most beautiful versions of themselves on their wedding day. But my journey into the bridal world wasn’t exactly traditional, it was fueled by some unfortunate experiences visiting salons. Those experiences lit a fire in me. I knew brides deserved better, more care, more attention, more luxury. So, I built a business that offers just that, and I haven’t looked back since!
Now, I specialize in timeless, elegant bridal hairstyles that look flawless from the first photo to the last dance. But my job is more than just hair, it’s about creating a stress-free, concierge experience that makes my brides feel confident, pampered, and truly special on their big day.
But my love for weddings doesn’t stop at the aisle! I recently expanded into luxury honeymoon planning, called “Unveiled Getaways’ helping couples design their dream getaways after the big day. Travel has always been a huge part of my life, and I know firsthand how important it is to take time to escape from everyday life and reconnect with your partner. My husband and I prioritize traveling together, it allows us to reset, recharge, and experience new adventures as a couple. That’s why I love helping newlyweds and couples alike, craft an unforgettable adventure.
What I love most about what I do, both in bridal styling and honeymoon planning, is that I get to be part of such a joyful, exciting chapter in people’s lives. Weddings are filled with magic, and I feel honored to play a role in making them unforgettable. Plus, there’s something so rewarding about seeing a bride’s face light up when she sees her final look or hearing from a couple who just had the honeymoon of their dreams. I Love, Love!
At the end of the day, I’m all about creating unforgettable moments, whether it’s the perfect wedding day look or the most romantic getaway.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my journey, three key qualities stand out as being the most important to my success: resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Starting and growing a business is not for the faint of heart. There were moments when I questioned everything, faced setbacks, or felt like I wasn’t making progress fast enough. But I refused to let challenges define me. I learned to push through, find solutions, and keep going, because resilience isn’t about never failing, it’s about refusing to quit. If you’re just starting out, expect challenges and setbacks. Instead of seeing them as roadblocks, treat them as opportunities to grow. Every successful person you admire has faced struggles, you just don’t always see them. Keep going!
The beauty industry, like most industries, is always evolving. When I first started, I had a vision, but I quickly realized that being flexible and open to change was just as important as having a plan. Whether it was learning new techniques, shifting my business model, or expanding into honeymoon planning, my ability to adapt has allowed me to continue growing. Stay open to learning and evolving. The moment you think you know everything is the moment you stop growing. Invest in education, listen to your clients, and be willing to pivot when necessary. The most successful people aren’t necessarily the smartest, they’re the ones who are always willing to learn.
At the end of the day, talent will only take you so far. What truly sets a business apart is the experience you provide. I built Unveiled by Anna on the belief that brides deserve a luxury, concierge-level experience, and that philosophy has shaped every decision I make.
No matter what industry you’re in, prioritize your customer experience. Go above and beyond. Make people feel valued. In a world where businesses can feel transactional, be the one that makes people say, “Wow, that was amazing.” That’s how you build a brand that lasts.
Everyone’s journey won’t look the same, and that’s a good thing! But if I could offer one piece of advice, it’s this: stay the course, be willing to grow, and always, always put your heart into what you do. The rest will follow.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
Ultimately, my ideal client is someone who wants more than just a service, they want an experience. They want someone they can trust, someone who listens to their vision, and someone who will go above and beyond to make their dreams a reality.
