Meet Anne – Marie Coleman

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anne – Marie Coleman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Anne – Marie with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I get a lot of my work ethic and inspiration daily from God — my faith grounds me and guides the way I show up in my business and my community. I also draw so much motivation from my husband, who is one of the hardest-working people I know. I respect him deeply and have always admired the way he leads with consistency, integrity, and commitment, and I strive to follow in those footsteps.
And of course, my greatest driving force is my 3-year-old son. Everything I do is for him. He reminds me every day why hard work matters, and he keeps me focused on building something meaningful that reflects the values I want him to see and grow up with.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m the owner of The Bunny Hive Roswell, a family-friendly studio designed to help parents, caregivers, and little ones build community, connection, and joy. We offer a wide range of classes — from sensory play and music to movement, art, and storytime — all created to nurture early childhood development while giving families a space where they feel welcomed, supported, and seen.
What’s most special about The Bunny Hive is the heart behind it. We’re not just a class studio — we’re a community. Watching friendships form, seeing children grow more confident each week, and giving parents a place where they can exhale and feel connected is truly the most rewarding part of what I do.
Professionally, I’m focused on expanding our offerings and continuing to meet the needs of families in Roswell and surrounding areas. We host birthday parties, private events, pop-ups, and seasonal celebrations, and we have several exciting things coming up. In the new year, we’ll be introducing new themed pop-up classes, hosting more specialty events, and building additional partnerships with local businesses and organizations that align with family wellness and early childhood enrichment.
My mission is simple: create a space where families feel loved, supported, and inspired — a place where community truly feels like home. Everything we do at The Bunny Hive is rooted in that purpose.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities have been the most impactful in my journey: faith, resilience, and community-centered leadership.
First, faith has guided every step. It keeps me grounded, helps me navigate uncertainty, and reminds me that my purpose is bigger than any obstacle. For anyone early in their journey, I encourage carving out time for reflection — whatever that looks like for you — so you can stay rooted in your “why.”
Second, resilience has been essential. Owning a business, especially one centered on families and community, comes with daily challenges. I’ve learned to adapt quickly, stay solution-focused, and keep moving forward even when things feel overwhelming. My advice is to practice resilience by embracing setbacks as lessons rather than failures. Every challenge is shaping you for the next level.
Third, community-centered leadership has truly shaped The Bunny Hive Roswell. Understanding people, listening to parents’ needs, building relationships, and creating a welcoming environment are at the core of what we do. For those starting out, invest time in understanding your community. Ask questions, observe, collaborate, and create with intention. When you build authentically, people feel it.
Ultimately, success isn’t just about strategy — it’s about heart. Stay rooted, stay resilient, and stay connected to the people you’re serving. That’s where real impact happens.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

Two books have played an important role in my personal and professional development: The Bible and Atomic Habits by James Clear.
The Bible has always been my foundation. Its teachings on faith, perseverance, humility, and service guide how I lead, how I show up for my family, and how I run my business. The reminder that purpose is greater than pressure and that strength comes from God has carried me through every season.
Atomic Habits offered practical wisdom that helped me refine my daily routines and approach to growth. The idea that small, consistent actions create big results changed the way I view progress. It taught me that success isn’t about dramatic leaps — it’s about showing up every day, improving by 1%, and building systems that support your goals.
Together, these two books shaped both my mindset and my discipline. The Bible gave me the heart and grounding, and Atomic Habits gave me the tools to turn that purpose into action.
