Meet Antoinette Hines

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Antoinette Hines a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Antoinette , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I am a mother of six girls and I did not want them to experience the traumas I had endured over my lifetime. After a two hour conversation with five of my daughters on Christmas Eve a few years ago and hearing their hearts, I knew it was time to release my traumas in a way that they could see me transparently and understand me better. I had to be naked about my past and my pain before my daughters who endured my journey with me. After that conversation with them the residue surfaced and I was coming face to face with triggers of my trauma. I was in counseling and therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and it was causing me to withdraw to control my reactions while alienating and isolating from my daughters. My childhood traumas were being triggered more frequently and it was time to deal with them head on. No more suppressing the pain and pretending I was okay. My desire was that my daughters would no longer be afraid of me and see me in a new way. I had to address some really hard truths. I started seeing myself and I did not like what I was seeing. I grew up learning to hide the pain and keep it shut away on the inside, I disappeared, I lost myself.

In prayer, I heard God say that it was time to release the trauma and heal the inner me so that I could walk in my identity in Christ not the identity my traumas gave me. It was time to tear down the walls brick by brick, every layer had to be removed. My daughters honesty open my eyes to my behavior. Therapy and counseling opened me up to be vulnerable and start releasing the layers of trauma and pain. God opened me up to being healed in the inner most chambers of my heart and to forgive. The residue was coming off. I still have to manage my triggers in healthier ways. I am no longer controlled by the pain. Now I assist others in releasing their pain, press into power and move in purpose. I pressed into my purpose of helping others release the trauma and find their identity outside the pain when I obeyed God and followed his instructions. God heals us to help others to heal. My pain had purpose!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Fraternal twin from Montgomery, Alabama, and 21-year Army Veteran. I am the founder of Uniquely Me, LLC. in Georgia and Co-founder of H2 Global Ministries located in Grovetown, Georgia. I serve with my husband Elder Harold Hines Jr. providing outreach services in and around the Augusta area by providing clothing, hygiene items, and feedings. I am a mother of six beautiful young ladies (Diamonds) and two grandchildren. I am a licensed minister of the Gospel, affirmed Prophet of God, author, mentor, counselor, coach, speaker, and teacher. Weekly, I teach online biblical practical principles which has reached abroad in Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Africa. I facilitate intercessory and prophetic training and development that encourages others to have a real relationship with Jesus that will ignite, restore, empower, and impact other lives through the training hub being birthed through Fire of the Ruach Ministries this year.

I am a two-time Amazon #1 Best-selling author, Amazon #1 International Best-selling author, with four published anthology works, and a workbook series launched December 2023. I am a Certified Christian Counselor Coach, Certified Leadership and Life Coach, Certified Mental Health Coach 1st Responder, Board Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC). My educational background includes Master of Theology, Master of Christian Counseling from School of the Great Commission, Columbia, South Carolina, Bachelor’s in Applied Science: Resource Management and Information Technology, and Associate of Science in General Education from Troy University, Alabama. Received my Diploma of Completion from Genesis International School of Apostles. Currently pursuing my doctoral degree.

My passion is working with individuals to transform their mindsets and assist in releasing trauma and pain through coaching in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Igniting individuals to find their identity in Christ and fulfill purpose with power in the earth for the Kingdom of God, igniting destinies. I also have a passion for seeing people release lack and poverty mindsets by giving them practical and biblical principles to transform their minds while transforming their financial picture with transparency and confidence. Giving classes on investing and saving to make life more manageable and enjoyable.

Mach 9, 2024 “It’s Time to Release Gathering” and Workshop is taking place in Augusta, Georgia. Based on the book “It’s Time to Release the Trauma” and workbook released October 2023 and Workbook January 2024 . Also throughout 2024 there are book tours and other volumes of the book and workbook will be released.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Prayer, seeking the Father in ALL things even in the high places, consistently seeking after the Father in Heaven to hear Him, seeking His presence and having a real relationship. Forgiving myself and forgiving others. I had to learn that some pain was passed down because those who hurt me were unhealed themselves and they only did what they knew to do. I had to forgive myself for not being aware and for some decisions I made. Humility, I am nothing without God who created me and breathe into me, I am here to fulfill his purpose and not my own. I belong to God, His love flows through me, to love others, to reconcile and heal others. I am honored to be the Lord’s vessel.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am looking to collaborate with God’s Kingdom people who want to release their trauma through giving their testimonies in the anthology “It’s Time to Release the Trauma” volumes 2-4 to be released in 2024. People who are ready to release the pain and move into purpose while releasing their life stories to the world. In the emptying out of the pain we make room for Jesus to do a work in us to heal and become healers. As the word of God says, We overcome by the word of our testimonies. These books speak to the power of the Lord and Savior, Jesus, Christ.
