Meet Archelle Bloodworth

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Archelle Bloodworth a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Archelle , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Speaking life into myself daily and believing in myself builds my confidence and self esteem. Everyday that I wake up I work towards improvement within and practicing self care. I choose to surround myself with positive people and supportive. This has been a journey for me since elementary always choosing to be a leader and not a follower. Not allowing negative thoughts or comments to get the best of me. My mental and emotional being is apart of my confidence and self esteem so I must choose wisely with my connections. Confidence becomes a skill mindset and feeling secure within. Healthy self esteem matters with being kind to thyself and making achievable goals.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three area that have ben most impactful in my journey has been educating, mental & health wellness, and research. I would recommend really taking a look at the diagnosis, the cause, how to take care of your body and the changes needed to be made. Taking on a journey of Resilience with Hope. Even though it comes unexpected embrace the journey and know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Try your best to keep a positive mindset. ” Choose to Live Everyday” no matter what you face or go through along the journey.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

My Mom played a huge role in helping me overcome the challenges faced during my journey. My skills and knowledge came through research, taking time to understand the process and ways to overcome. During my hair loss she spoke into me telling me how beautiful I was. She embraced me with so much love, and my brother being a barber came over to cut my hair and putting designs in it. This decision was difficult but due to me realizing it was coming out in patches, I refused to watch it all fall out so I decided who would be better than my brother to take care of this and help me through my emotions.
