Meet Arian Khoroushi

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Arian Khoroushi a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Arian, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
My optimism stems from a combination of factors in my life. Firstly, I believe in personal resilience. Overcoming past challenges has shown me that I possess the inner strength to face difficulties head-on. This history of resilience instills in me a sense of confidence in my ability to navigate whatever comes my way.

Additionally, I naturally tend to have a positive outlook on life. I find joy in the little things and believe that maintaining a hopeful perspective allows me to see opportunities even in difficult situations. I like to have a positive hope about the future achievements, envisioning the possibilities that lie ahead.

Viewing challenges as opportunities for growth is another aspect that contributes to my optimism. Instead of seeing obstacles as roadblocks, I see them as chances to learn and improve, which fuels my optimism as I anticipate positive outcomes.

The people around me play a significant role in fostering my optimism. Whether it’s friends, family, or colleagues, having a supportive network encourages me to stay positive and hopeful about the future. Moreover, I’ve developed a habit of focusing on solutions rather than dwelling on problems. This problem-solving mindset contributes to my optimism, as I believe there’s always a way to improve a situation or find a positive outcome.

Practicing gratitude is a key source of my optimism. By appreciating the positive aspects of my life, I find that I can maintain a hopeful perspective, even during challenging times. Overall, these aspects collectively shape my optimistic outlook on life.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I have a diverse background in Art, Bio-Medical, engineering, and marketing, which has fueled my passion for creativity and innovation. As a multifaceted individual, I wear many hats as an actor, writer, producer, director, musician, DJ, artist, and entrepreneur, always seeking new avenues to explore and contribute to the world. What excites me most is the opportunity to tell compelling stories and create valuable content that resonates with people. Currently, my main focus is on “FilmDin,” an innovative networking app designed to connect artists and facilitate collaborations. This project aims to streamline the process of finding and working with talented individuals, bridging the gap between artists and business owners seeking creative professionals for various projects. (To get the latest news about it hit me up).
While I juggle my creative pursuits, I also handle day-to-day responsibilities by running errands to sustain myself financially. It’s the perfect blend of practicality and passion, allowing me to pursue my artistic endeavors without compromising on the necessities.
In addition to “FilmDin,” I am actively working on two of my online series on my YouTube and Instagram page “ARIKTV”. “Watch ME” showcases a diverse range of content, from comedy to educational videos, providing an engaging and entertaining experience for viewers. On the other hand, “GAP + BEZANIM” delves into the professional realm, featuring interviews with successful business owners and professionals discussing their journeys and successes.
These projects are not just about personal expression; they reflect my commitment to fostering collaboration, creativity, and professional growth within the artistic community. As for upcoming developments, I am excited about potential expansions, new collaborations, and the continuous evolution of “FilmDin” to better serve the artistic community.
In essence, my journey is about weaving together my various skills and passions into a cohesive narrative that not only entertains but also contributes to the growth and collaboration within the artistic and professional spheres.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back at my journey, three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have truly shaped my path are: Versatility and Diverse Skill Set:
Being able to navigate through Sport, Art, Bio-Medical, engineering, and marketing has been a game-changer for me. Having a diverse skill set allowed me to explore various creative outlets and business ventures. My advice to those starting their journey is to embrace diversity. Don’t limit yourself—explore different fields, acquire new skills, and be open to challenges. Adaptability not only enriches your professional profile but also gives you a broader perspective on problem-solving.
Entrepreneurial Spirit:
As an entrepreneur developing “FilmDin” to connect artists and business owners, my journey is fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit. For those just starting, cultivate resilience, see failure as a chance to learn, and actively seek innovative solutions. It’s about identifying problems and proactively working towards creating meaningful and sustainable solutions.
Passion for Storytelling and Collaboration:
My dedication to telling compelling stories and fostering collaboration within the artistic community is a driving force in my journey. If you’re early in your journey, focus on honing your storytelling abilities, building a network of collaborators, and actively seeking opportunities to collaborate on diverse projects. Authenticity and a genuine passion for the stories you want to tell create a strong foundation for sustained creative pursuits.
Advice for Those Early in Their Journey:
Embrace Learning and Adaptability:
Actively seek opportunities to learn and diversify your skill set. Be open to exploring new fields because the ability to adapt and learn quickly will be a valuable asset throughout your journey.
Develop an Entrepreneurial Mindset:
Approach challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset. Embrace risk, learn from failures, and view obstacles as opportunities for growth. Entrepreneurship is about problem-solving and creating value, so be proactive in identifying and addressing challenges.
Cultivate Passion and Authenticity:
Pursue projects and endeavors that genuinely ignite your passion. Authenticity in your work will resonate with others and contribute to building a strong personal brand. Seek collaborations that align with your values and goals, fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment in your journey.
Remember, the journey is as important as the destination. Stay true to your passions, remain adaptable, and continually seek opportunities for growth and collaboration.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was fostering a culture of exploration and supporting my diverse interests. They recognized the value of being multi-talented individuals and encouraged my sisters and me to take various art and sports classes. By exposing us to different daily activities, they allowed us to discover our passions and strengths. What set their support apart was not just the introduction to different paths but the unwavering encouragement they provided throughout our journeys. They didn’t impose their expectations but rather stood by us, supporting our decisions and celebrating our individuality. This foundation of support and encouragement has been instrumental in shaping me into a versatile and confident individual, capable of navigating different aspects of life with enthusiasm and determination.
