Meet Ariel Peters-Angelucci

We recently connected with Ariel Peters-Angelucci and have shared our conversation below.

Ariel, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

As a kid, I was naturally observant and deeply attuned to my own emotions. I often felt feelings more intensely than others, and at first, it was overwhelming. Over time, I realized that noticing and understanding my emotions wasn’t a burden—it was a superpower.

The more I leaned into my own emotional awareness, the more I saw that I wasn’t alone in my experiences. That insight became my calling: helping others connect with their emotions, feel seen, and discover their own inner strength.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I offer online individual therapy, helping adults heal from the lasting effects of emotionally immature parents, childhood trauma, and generational patterns. I’m trained in RYT and EMDR, and I use somatic approaches to help people reconnect with their bodies, release old patterns, and build healthier relationships. What I love most about this work is seeing clients recognize patterns that have held them back for years—and then gain the confidence and tools to set boundaries, trust themselves, and create the life they truly want.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Recently, I’ve also been hosting workshops and support groups, creating spaces for adults to share, learn, and grow together. My goal is simple: to help people feel empowered, grounded, and more fully themselves.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a commitment to continual learning. Self-awareness helped me recognize patterns in myself and others, and understand what drives behavior—both in my own life and in my work with clients. Emotional resilience has allowed me to navigate challenges and setbacks without losing sight of my goals or my sense of purpose. And staying committed to learning—through formal training, mentorship, and personal exploration—has been essential for growth and keeping my approach effective and compassionate.

For those early in their journey, my advice would be: start by cultivating curiosity about yourself and others; seek experiences that challenge you and teach you to adapt; and never stop learning, whether it’s through study, practice, or seeking guidance from those you admire. Growth often happens in small, consistent steps rather than overnight leaps, so be patient with yourself and honor the progress you make along the way.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

My biggest area of growth over the past 12 months has been deepening my self-awareness and resilience through my sobriety—I’m now 8 months sober. This journey has strengthened my clarity, emotional balance, and focus, and it’s given me a deeper perspective in my work with clients. It’s been a powerful reminder that growth comes from patience, self-compassion, and showing up consistently, even when it’s challenging.
