Arkeedah , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from the passion I have for the work that I do. Learning how to adapt to challenges and the support that I receive from my family and close friends. I also make a point to take care of my mental and emotional health as well.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m an Atlanta Native, Wellness enthusiast, A self-published Author: How to Start A Blog: 10 Essential Steps You Need To Know and Blogger Rulebook. I’ve been a Blogger for over 14 years I created in ItsArkeedah.com in 2009 this platform provides daily doses of what’s chic, trendy, what’s haute and what’s not. I set out to give my readers a fresh take on fashion news and stories, local hot-spots along with spotlights on boutique owners, magazine scans, fashion show reviews, hair product endorsements, trend forecasts, wardrobe advice, celebrity looks for less, and tips on how to stay ahead of the trends, In 2014, I expanded my brand by creating Chick Auto Tips – a resource for women that highlight useful car tips, reviews and articles.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
To be a successful content creator, three important qualities or skills are creativity, consistency, and adaptability. Creativity allows you to generate unique and engaging content that stands out. Consistency helps you build an audience by regularly delivering content and maintaining engagement. Finally, adaptability enables you to stay updated with trends, technologies, and audience preferences, allowing you to adjust your content strategy accordingly.
Advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey: Always believe in yourself. Times will get hard and uncertain. Take breaks, revamp your strategy but never give up. Always be learning, deep dive in your analytics understand what is working and what is not. Subscribe to the meta learning hubs to stay on top of trends and new updates.
