We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Armando Araiza. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Armando below.
Hi Armando, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Repetition with self is in the reps. I developed self-confidence and esteem by doing something consistently while improving along the way. Stacking wins and creating undeniable results for yourself.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
“Imagine an award that’s not your average participation trophy, but a symbol of true legacy.”
My name is Armando, and I am the founder of Elevated Engravings. We help companies invest in their employees by creating awards that foster a culture of recognition, and leadership development. Our goal is to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover. We believe strong leadership starts within companies, and that ripples out to the benefit of our growing community.
We don’t reward attendance, we reward greatness.
The Mission is to help capture the moment & create a memory for special events by providing “one-of-a-kind” gifts and engraving services. Our products and customization abilities allow us to commemorate the achievements, milestones, and legacies in our mountain community. Our company and services help build the leaders of tomorrow.
The Vision is to grow with our community by increasing recognition and leadership development within teams and companies, starting with our own. Our team is the embodiment of these values. We aim to connect with young adults in our community to help educate and empower the youth with skills and core values they can apply for their future.
Together, we can create art and tell stories that inform, entertain, and inspire our community for generations to come!
If you are interested in creating a stronger work culture, recognizing your top performers, and prioritizing leadership development, reach out to our team and we would love to see how we can help!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1) Delayed Gratification – Be aggressively patient, meaning be aggressive with how you attack your goals and be patient with the results. Do more and expect nothing in return. When you give more than you take, you receive more than you gave. Good things take time. You can’t build a strong house on a weak foundation. The blessings of tomorrow are based on the value provided today.
2) Work instills the worth – Reputation is in the reps. Skillsets, mindsets, and habits are a muscle. The more you do something, the easier it gets. Take action, and don’t let over-analysis create paralysis within yourself and your dreams. Undeniable results will provide you with the reminder you need when you feel incapable.
3) Knowledge is power – “to know and not to do, is not to know” When you take in new information, do your best to act and implement. Take some time to learn more about yourself. Financial Literacy, Self Development, and Your Health. Knowledge is something no one can ever take from you. The sooner you get to know yourself and what you need, the sooner you’ll be able to stop giving up on those goals and dreams you wish to achieve.
All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
Personally, the number one obstacle and challenge I am facing is breaking past my own limiting beliefs. Fear of failure, fear of not knowing enough to succeed, fear of growing past the unknown. I’m working on understanding my deficiencies and holding myself accountable to take the actions necessary to improve. Those start with a better diet, better environments, better attention to physical and mental health, taking classes, reading books, going to therapy, and loving myself and prioritizing my needs.
