We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Arnesjah Miller. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Arnesjah below.
Arnesjah, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
As a creative entrepreneur, resilience is a trait that I feel I was born with. It is a skill that I feel the need to exercise every day to live the life of my dreams.
From as far as I can remember, I’ve experienced losses that challenged me to bounce back. As a young girl, I watched my mother battle with breast cancer. I noticed how strong she was to endure through chemo treatments, emergency room visits, and even through moments where she was too weak to walk. She’d somehow bounce back into action to go to work and make sure that my sister and I were well taken care of. Although she’s lost her battle with cancer, I believe that she set a prime example of resilience, especially for the life that was laid out for my future.
My dad taught me how to play basketball at a young age. Once my mom saw my passion and determination for the sport, she signed me up for a basketball team in our local community. Basketball is a sport that trains you to react quickly, to get up and keep trying even if you fall. I never let the sport go until I graduated high school. That is when I then became persistent with my gift of poetry and entrepreneurship.
I had a love for poetry at a young age because writing was a remedy that helped me to endure hard times. I always knew that I would help others in a greater capacity one day. So, I’d write songs, poems, and short stories as a way of expression and encouragement.
Growing up, I’ve experienced several losses whether that be in relationships or failed ideas. However, it was the inkling inside of me that felt there was more in store for my life than the losses that I was experiencing. Loss has taught me several lessons that in return has made me become stronger through the practice of personal development.
Not only did attending Christian communities and getting to know God through Bible study helped change my entire life, but also learning from prominent speakers, entrepreneurs, and life coaches have helped me to believe bigger. Hearing the stories of others who’ve experienced similar journeys as me empowered me to bounce back and keep going. Practicing daily self-care habits, implementing a daily routine has helped me to gain the results of my goals and to manifest prayers.
One of my most recent experiences with resilience was moving from the location of my dreams, Atlanta, GA to moving back home with my dad. I was devastated. Embarrassed was an understatement. I felt so mentally unstable to the point where I no longer wanted to live. I couldn’t resist the feeling of having to start from ground zero, work a minimum wage job, and let my business go.
One and a half years later, after picking myself back up, I found the courage to try again. I went to therapy to gain professional guidance with my mental health, which helped me to put life into proper perspective and avoid making the same mistakes. I reached out for help with my business from professionals. Most of all, I humbled myself to unlearn former beliefs and learn new skills all over again.
Life has proven to me that when you are at your lowest point, you must let go of what you think you know – to surrender to the process of grief, and to try something new as you approach your dreams and aspirations.
Often times we look for others to give us the strength and the confidence in order to gain resilience. Yet, not realizing that resilience is already within you. Resilience is inspired when you witness someone else’s journey, but it becomes an exercise when you believe in yourself.
For anyone who is looking for their next come back, I encourage you to look within. Find your secret place where you can embrace all of who you are first. Embrace your flaws, embrace your failures, embrace your uniqueness. Be encouraged to share your story with others because someone else is experiencing a similar journey as you.
Because of my experiences in life, I find it my mission to empower others to endure through life’s challenges and become a better version of themselves so that they can fulfill their life’s purpose. That is how I define reliance, and I hope that this message empowers someone else to do just that.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Throughout my 7 years of entrepreneurship, I’ve carried the passion of digital design and marketing strategies. I started my journey in April of 2017 selling my very first self-published book, Transparent Treasure. I created and shared empowerment graphics and videos on my Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook accounts. I noticed my community growing, so I’d create guides and devotionals as email campaigns for my audience.
It wasn’t until 2019 where I was fired from my full-time job that I then dove into full-time entrepreneurship. At the time, I was confident in my ability to help authors to build their brands. I provided digital design and marketing virtual assistance to small business owners, including offered services to authors to help them successfully self-publish their books.
Meanwhile, I stumbled across the opportunity to sell my second self-published book, I…Am Chosen at a kiosk at Cumberland Mall in Atlanta, GA. There I learned how to sell apparel and books from both of my mentors, Jamel Jackson and David Shands at their kiosk, which then helped me to make over a mind-blowing revenue of $13,000 within 3 months of selling all 3 of my books and apparel.
I know what it’s like to be multiple-passionate without any clarity of how to niche-down to attract and serve my target audience. I’ve experienced the struggle of running a business without any systems and strategies all to gain little to no results. I know how draining it is to run a service-based business attracting the wrong ideal clients just to find myself more stressed than fulfilled. Which leads me to the passion that I have for entrepreneurship today.
As a Digital Creator, I enjoy my ability to empower faith-based entrepreneurs to take action on their goals and dreams and make money online. So, I’ve developed a branding and digital marketing company called The Brand Exhilarator which teaches entrepreneurs how to amplify their brands using digital marketing strategies.
What’s exciting about our approach is that we focus on bridging the gap between creative vision and digital success, offering guidance and resources to help entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of building and scaling their brands in the digital realm.Anyone with a desire to build their brand online and make passive income can gain a wealth of knowledge and resources from my brand even if they are just starting off.
If someone is a creative entrepreneur with a desire to brand themselves with a scalable online business, one of the many resources that we offer is a digital wealth course that teaches everything you need to know about building a successful brand. It entails a wealth of proven digital marketing strategies and solutions developed by social media, digital marketing, and branding experts with over 10 years of knowledge. A huge bonus is the Master Resell Rights (MRR) that we offer with the course. MRR gives you the ability to resell the course as is for 100% profit (we don’t keep any of what you earn). This option is super amazing for anyone who desires to share their entrepreneurial journey to digital success as well.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Personal development has been the most important quality that has contributed to my entrepreneurial journey. Be in a constant state of learning more about your industry. Implement a daily routine where you are applying self-care and action-specific activities that can help you reach your weekly/monthly goals. I do this by choosing 1 to 3 activities that I am going to implement for the month, I write them down each day and then scratch each activity off once I complete it. I post each sticky note on my bedroom wall to track my process. Doing this for 30 days each month has helped me to gain more confidence in myself.
Learning the fundamental skills of storytelling, digital marketing, copywriting, sales, and automation has helped me to gain success and build authority in my industry. With these skillsets, one can gain substantial growth in gaining clientele.
For someone who is early in their entrepreneurial journey, I’d recommend having resources for each of your needs, but invest in one professional coach who can teach you the process and steps to your desired success. Dipping into several coaches at once can leave you burnt out. So, focus on your needs, know what is in demand, and give your best shot.
Some of the prominent leaders who have made a huge impact along my journey are:
– David Shands (entrepreneurship)
– Mel Robins (personal development)
– Tiffany Aliche (financial development)
– Marshawn Evans Daniels (business and spiritual development)
– Donni Wiggins (business development)
– Hindz (spiritual development)
– Sarah Jakes Roberts (Christian/spiritual development)
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
With my passion for the industries of faith, entrepreneurship, and mental health, I am looking to collaborate with anyone who’s mission is aligned with my values: – embrace authenticity
– build impactful communities
– empower faith into action
– align with purpose
– serve over sell
– gain effective results
If you or you know some (or a brand) that can relate to any part of my journey, let’s connect! You can reach me via email ([email protected]) or social media (@arnesjah).
