We were lucky to catch up with Artesha “tea With Teash” F recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Artesha “Tea With Teash” , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose when I was a little Girl. I knew I was an Empath that loved to talk with a really big personality when I was much smaller. I was really sensitive, compassionate and wanted to help people. On the flip side, I wanted to be a singer and a Host, so my Mother bought me a toy microphone with a stand and you could turn it on to hear the sound. I would prop Teddy Bears and Baby Dolls on my bed, and would perform for them. I even had talk shows just being inspired by Sally Jesse Raphael, Geraldo, Oprah and Phil Donahue because people listened to them, they cared about what they had to say, and I wanted to feel that. Reading, Writing and English were always my favorite subjects in school so when I graduated High School, I wanted to major in Journalism and travel the World talking to different people to her their story. Ultimately, Tea With Teash was already in the making to be born and I didn’t even know it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a Kansas City Native Podcaster, Host & Media Girl that loves engaging with Small Business Owners in and outside of my Community. I also felt it was important to use my platform discuss topics like Relationships, Friendships, Health and provide daily Motivation. I set out to be one of those Speakers that always says or does something beneficial to help someone. I love public speaking more than anything because it allows me to become personal with my audience and really allow them to get to know who I am beyond the Microphone. I have been hearing a lot towards hosting events and doing Live Interviews here lately which I will be in Atlanta in November for the “Protect Yo Energy Convention” by invite to do live interviews and meet a lot of the Creatives, Vendors and Panel Speakers. I’m super excited to be apart of that!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My advice is if you really want to do whatever it is, get started! Create your Blueprint and just go, but keep in mind that you may be the only person to support your dream until others catch on to the fact that your really good at what you do and they will also see your consistency which shows how serious you are. Quiet the outside noise and work really hard on your craft no matter what!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I would love to collaborate and work with people that share the same goal of wanting to inspire, motivate and enhance creativity! I want to work with other businesses that are all about Community and Leadership. Being on stages and panels with substance has always been a dream of mine!
