Meet Artis Duncantell

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Artis Duncantell a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Artis , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I keep my creativity alive by consistently, trying new things that bring purpose and exciting change in my life.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am an educator, currently working in the field of special education. I am the choir director at my church and involved in a lot of activities in the community.. I am currently in the process of starting the Chassidy club for children seven through 17 years old. I am very involved in my education, and believe that education is one of the tools to success.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My determination, self starter skills, and motivation my three qualities that have been very impact full during my journey. The advised that I have for people who are earlier and their journey is to never give up and never look back.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
Challenges that I am currently facing, are being qualified with the education for certain positions And not being offered those positions because of where I come from.
