Meet Asandra

We recently connected with Asandra and have shared our conversation below.

Asandra, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I became aware that I’m an artist at a very young age. It was clear to me from early childhood that this was my passion even if I didn’t yet have that word in my child’s vocabulary. A deeper sense of life-purpose came later, around the age of 22 when I had a sense that I wanted to make a contribution to the world in some way that made it a better place. I asked the universe to assist me and eventually was guided, through a series of circumstances to the work I do, Channeling Spirit Guides for a global clientele. I discussed this journey in greater depth in my book, “Contact Your Spirit Guides”, published by Schiffer, 2011.

Artistically, the relationship I have with the spirit world is evident in my paintings. In this way, both being an artist (my passion), and being a Channel (my service), some together as a cohesive vision. It is my intention to be an inspiration through art, writing and channeling, helping others to not only make a deeper connection with Spirit and source energy in their own lives, but also to find their own calling and purpose.

This intention is imbued in all the forms I express myself in: writing, channeling, painting.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m currently showing my artwork in a group exhibit called Interplay: Geometric Abstraction at 33Contemporary Gallery in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. The exhibit can also been seen in person or online at Artsy through the 33Contemporary Gallery page.
As a Channel, I work with clients world-wide, bringing in Master Spirit Guides and teachers. These evolved beings assist the client in clarifying their destiny path and life-purpose.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

One should always listen to the inner self. I started meditating when I was 15 years old and this enabled me to become more attuned to my true self. This inner attunement is the foundation for everything else: clarity, trust, courage, intuition, and so on. If there is a foundation of soul-connection within, then even if we do not know what our next step is, there will be the ability to receive and recognize the impulse, guidance, or opportunity when it comes.

I think there is a danger in thinking that our path exists outside of ourselves and that we must find it. Once we are first anchored to authentic inner-knowing, the path is expressed in form utilizing all of our gifts and talents. This is ultimately the most organic way forward and is in alignment with the natural order of the universe. In other words, we connect within ourselves to Source-Energy, and from that connection, we express this awareness, utilizing our gifts and talents. This is what I do in my life: express my connection to Source through being a Channel, Artist, and Writer.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

For my channeling work, my ideal client is an individual that has some level of self-awareness. Whether they are already deeply ensconced on their path or just beginning, that individual is seeking a deeper level of guidance that speaks to them at a profound soul-level.

Regarding art, my collectors are people that feel inspired when they are around the work. Although the artwork can be appreciated for its’ surface beauty, collectors also respond to the meditative and expansive quality of the imagery.
