Meet Ashlee Makuch

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ashlee Makuch. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Ashlee, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

My generosity comes from having a deep desire to help others. I definitely have a “helper” personality and strive to do more than just snap photos for clients and always go above any behind within my personal and professional life. It doesn’t ever hurt to be kind.

One of my favorite quotes is “ you don’t know what someone else is going through, choose kindness always”

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a wedding and portrait photographer specializing in dreamy light and airy images

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

3 skills that are super important are
– attention to detail (photography is the art of paying attention)
– listening
– organization

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I love collaborating and partnering!

Other photographers are always great!

Wedding planners, wedding venues & dress boutiques are also amazing!
