Meet Ashley Bell

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ashley Bell. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Ashley , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I would say my work ethic comes from my childhood and upbringing. I come from being raised by a single mom and I watched her buss her butt daily to provide and keep a roof over our head. I feel in love with the idea to always grind for what I want watching my mom. It was a struggle growing up so if I wanted something I always had to work for it, so I did hair by the age 11 and always had a hustle going on.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

So I’m currently the co owner of a popular 7 figure brand food truck called The Bells Sweet Factory and a new boutique owner of Bellionaire Chic. What I love most about both businesses is that I get to do it with my husband and kids. Our food truck is one of Dallas hottest food trucks and we enjoy serving real authentic New Orleans food! We’re known for our creativity and big personalities. With the boutique its new and just launched in May, but I love being able to make women like myself look and feel beautiful.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I would have to say 3 most qualities and skills would be: be creative, be authentic, and be professional all while doing the best you can do. You want to start how you want to finish. Don’t half step if you’re going to do something. If you go do it DO IT! You will get far being creative and authentic alone. We came to Dallas homeless and broke in 2018 and now own a 7 figure brand so take my word!

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed I always go take a nap lol. I know that sound crazy but sometimes our body just need to reset and recharge! Sometimes so many things on your mind you start to cause your body stress and that’s not good for business! So take a breather and relax.
