Meet Ashley Conyers

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ashley Conyers. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ashley below.

Ashley, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I discovered my purpose through a process of unlearning, healing, and spiritual alignment. For years, I was chasing fulfillment in ways that left me feeling more disconnected from myself and from Jesus Christ. It wasn’t until I slowed down and started asking the hard questions – What is my identity in the Lord? What am I called to do for His glory? What was truly meaningful? – that clarity started to come. Seeking Him out made all the difference.

In 2018, I began building a deeper relationship with the Lord, and from there, everything started to shift. I realized that my purpose wasn’t something I had to strive to create – it was something I needed to surrender to. I started aligning my thoughts and actions with truth, and Divine Glow Coaching and Your Divine Glow Podcast were born from that space.

Now, I help others do the same – break through mental and emotional barriers, align with who they’re called to be, and walk boldly in their God-given calling.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I help purpose chasers – those at a crossroads, feeling a tug toward something more, or seeking clarity and fulfillment – align their mindset with their faith and purpose, guiding them to live boldly in the life they’ve been called to. As a Purpose-Driven Mindset Coach and host of the Your Divine Glow podcast, I empower people to break through mental and spiritual barriers by helping them shift their mindset, deepen their faith, and take actionable steps toward their God-given calling.

What excites me most is watching my clients transform by shedding limiting beliefs, stepping into clarity, and embracing a life of purpose and fulfillment. It’s the most rewarding part of my work. It’s the ‘AHA’ moment that is guided by the Holy Spirit.

Through Divine Glow Coaching, I use a one-to-one personalized coaching program, practical strategies, and faith-based principles to guide purpose-chasers toward their God-given purpose. I’m also expanding my reach through the Your Divine Glow podcast, where I share insights, interviews, and inspiration. Looking ahead, I’m focused on growing my Glow in Purpose program to access more individuals in a group setting and developing new resources to support people in living with intention and alignment. I will continue to host events that bring like-minded purpose chasers together to learn more about Jesus, deepen their relationship with Him, and conquer those fears, doubts, and limiting beliefs that keep them confined.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three qualities that were (and are) most impactful in my journey are surrender, faith, and self-awareness.

1. Surrender: The most important lesson I learned was to surrender control to God. At the beginning of my journey, I tried to force things to happen on my own terms, but I quickly learned that when I let go and trusted God’s timing and plan, everything began to unfold. For those starting out, my advice is to practice surrender daily. Let go of the pressure to have everything figured out and trust that God is guiding your steps. Surrendering isn’t giving up – it’s giving everything to God and trusting in His will for your life. Your story is already written.

2. Faith: Faith became my anchor throughout my journey. Trusting in God’s plan, even when things didn’t make sense, gave me strength and clarity. My advice here is to build a strong relationship with God. Lean on Him in both the highs and lows, and remember that your faith will sustain you when the road gets tough. Trust that He has a plan for you, even if it’s not always clear in the moment. One of my favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

3. Self-Awareness: Understanding who I am in Christ, my strengths, and my weaknesses has been crucial in aligning with my purpose. I took time to reflect on my values, passions, and what truly mattered to me. To develop self-awareness, I recommend journaling, praying, and seeking feedback from trusted mentors. The more you understand yourself and your Heavenly Father, the clearer your purpose will become, and the more aligned your actions will be.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

One of the most impactful things my parents did for me was instill the value of faith while giving me the freedom to explore. They didn’t force a path on me – they trusted that I’d find my own, and in that space, I learned how to hear God’s voice for myself. They also taught me what it means to surrender the temporary for the lasting – how to choose purpose over pressure and the eternal over the instant. I’ve been blessed with amazing, loving parents.

They didn’t always have the words for everything, but they showed me what it looked like to keep going, to trust God in the unknown, and to pray through the storms. That quiet resilience shaped me in ways I didn’t fully appreciate until I started walking my own journey with God. Their example reminded me that faith isn’t always loud – it’s often lived in the small, steady choices. And that left a lasting impression on how I now approach purpose, healing, and alignment.
