Ashley Faith, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience come from my environment and the people around me. I believe that I embody the main 7 characteristics of resilience which is confidence, competence, connection, control, character, control, and contribution.

My name is Ashley Faith Council and I am a model & serial entrepreneur . I was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia and I am the founder of Connected Mindsets.
Connected Mindsets started off as a discord server to help others find remote jobs, mental health support, life insurance education, & helping others properly set up their businesses. February of 2023 I created my official instagram account to help promote the services that I offer to others. My website is currently under construction and I plan on offering much more as well as hosting multiple events throughout the Metro-Atlanta area. I’ve helped over 50 different individuals find better paying jobs & affordable life insurance plans for their families.
There really isn’t a limit for me. I’m pretty much knowledgeable in every business industry. I believe that having trades and certifications under your belts keeps you from falling down on hard times.
I’m currently enrolled in the Google IT SUPPORT AND DATA ANALYTICS PROGRAM with Merit America. I love being able to work from the comfort of my home while helping others solve problems. In today’s society, it is very important to understand how technology and the internet works. Everything is digital. Knowing how to properly troubleshoot and resolve issues that others may not be able to do themselves is a great feeling.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Being successful often means learning from those who have already achieved their goals. Having a mentor is an amazing blessing to an entrepreneur, but not everyone can find one in person. 1. Challenge Yourself!
2. Do work for things you’re passionate about.
There’s no doubt that running a business take a lot of time. Steve Jobs noted that the only way to be satisfied in your life is to do work that you truly believe in.
3. Take the risk.
We never know the outcome of our efforts unless we actually do it. Jeff Bezos said it helped to know that he wouldn’t regret failure, but he would regret not trying.
4. Believe in yourself.
5. Have a vision.
6. Find great people and customers.
7. Know your goals!
8. Learn from your mistakes.
9. Learn from constructive criticism.
10.Understand your industry.
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
My favorite book to read would be The Entrepreneur Mind: 100 Essential Beliefs, Characteristics, and Habits of Elite Entrepreneurs. By Kevin D. Johnson. This book is where every ‘wannabe’ entrepreneur should start…these potentially controversial mindsets ring true.
In this book, Mr. Johnson has done a remarkable job synthesizing the key points about successful entrepreneurship. In valuable detail, he discusses his own enlightening experiences and those of well-known entrepreneurs to help readers get it right the first time. This book is an important resource for current and aspiring entrepreneurs. He stitches together actual life scenarios and outcomes that every entrepreneur needs to understand. This book doesn’t live in the clouds like some others do.
The Entrepreneur Mind provides an easy-to-understand blueprint for success. It can be used by anyone wanting to make their dream a reality or aiming to take their business to the next level. In this book, Kevin gives key step-by-step principles for building a strong business foundation from idea to execution, and it is truly a must read for everyone ready to step out on faith to start their own enterprise. I RECOMMEND ANYONE STARTING A BUSINESS READ THIS BOOK!!!!
