Ashley , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
It isn’t difficult to keep creativity alive when it’s my air in which to breathe . I wake up in the morning with an idea ,a word ,a note I hear ,a feeling , sometimes I see a color or a symbol , most or any of these become part of a grander picture that go into my art .
I am a musical artist , I l deeply feel that more than just a musician . Although musicians are also musical artists:) . I build an entire world within each song that I write record and then perform.
I evolved to this level . I was first playing piano by ear at a young age .. then trained as a classical singer ( many professional singers who don’t sing opera do train this way , it’s a fantastic foundation for vocal growth . Then , wrote poetry and short stories for personal enjoyment and because I needed to express myself this way as I grew deeper into my art . One day I mixed it all together!!
It’s a special place that I create around a song 
. Characters , visions and sounds to stories . All are different . What they have in common is they are being told to disco beats and ultimately different dance remixes .as this is my most passionate genre .. Dance Music
I can live inside this tale for months. It’s inception until performance. and even the many music chats w various industry individuals , fans and friends .
It’s wildly exhilarating and I am in the character a little bit every day .. because that person/ character is a small part of me . It’s not A feeling sound or style that I create from thin air only . It’s part of my souls identity and inspiration. It’s deeply rooted inside my being and paired w a myriad of my different life experiences..
As I keep on my journey,, the highs and the lows , the struggles and moments of great joy . This is where it’s all stems from . So it’s simple for me to answer your question .. how to keep creativity alive is to keep living !! Live baby ) as my Grandpa Bernie would say to me when I was a little girl ,reach out and grab the goodness that is right in front of you .. even on a sad day

My music is always in motion . The songs I write are the stories that enagage my life . I hope to bring people joy and inspiration with my music . I wish for someone to hear an Ashley Paul track and want to get up and Dance Dance Dance .
My message is clear , Find strength in what you can feel is your destiny.
Find excitement and hope in knowing there is something so much greater than ourselves out there guiding you .
Love is passion of the soul . It comes in many forms . Fill your heart with light and let it lift you up towards the sky to fly and raise your vibration as high as it can go . ,
I am Ashley paul a dance music singer songwriter and performing artist . I live to inspire anyone ,who will give my music a moment..
My recent hit song “Love Light Me up “”“was at -#4 in Switzerland
#7 in Uk on the music week pop charts
#6 on the music week dance charts .
It even made the Hollywood digest list of top summer 2023 bops as well as the USA iTunes top 100 pop charts list!!
In the past two years I have also had three other top ten hits all over uk and Europe and some parts of the USA called “come and get me “ written with Gemini and Jackie’s Boy , who write with Justin Bieber and lil Wayne ,,,Feel Your Fire “I wrote w Damon Sharpe who also writes with JLO and Ariana grande .. , and Yo No Se , a bring back track from the billboard 80s , . I also had billboard hit in the late 80s called “When Boys Cry , produced by Joel Diamond and written by Victoria Shaw and Peggy Stanziale who wrote Dress You Up for Madonna 🙂 .. as well as Color Me Yours , This Kind of Love and Don’t take back your love . My very first record deal was at 12 w a Christmas song “Santa Clause Dear Santa Clause” on Sandcastle records produced by Andy Bidale .
I have a new song out that is very silly and fun and totally about being sexy n flirty ,,,Called “Bingo Baby “ also out on all DSPs . I wrote this track w famed uk boys band “Five “ “Ritchie Neville “and world producer Liam Keegan .. the Remixer/ producer “ Luv Foundation Uk “took this track to a whole other brilliant and entranceing level as well . We wrote this track one day at lunch in Liverpool .. so organically ,while telling music stories and getting to know one another, I blurted out “Bingo Baby “trying to be flirty 🙂 After I kept hearing the word Bingo in my mind over n over ,, ran back to the studio and voila in almost under two hours it practically wrote itself !!! Ritchie says 🙂 ,,
Another special track coming soon called “Ribbons” , I wrote w Damon Sharpe to be out in 2024 .. to me it’s pure “disco poetry “
I just returned from a concert in Mexico City , where i sang on stage at the “Pepsi Center “it was an amazing experience. I opened for Ace of Base
And in front of about 8 thousand people !!!
What a high that was .. look forward to some amazing festivals summer performances in summer 2024 in the uk as well .
Summer of 2023 I opened for Natalie umbruglia at the Lee stock festival
In Suffolk Uk ..that was an awesome experience as well !!!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
First I believe is to “never give up .” My mother , grandma and aunt all taught me this constantly . The importance of waking each day with an unrealized Hope ,excitement and sense of surprise.. today despite any obstacles I’m going to be in my most passionate and present space,, there the universe may surprise me .
Two) never stop working on your craft .
I work everyday on my music , I write I record , I vocalize or conceptualize new ideas for my brand . I network I reach out to strangers for new perspectives.. I dance I music chat ,,
For me ,I’m in a place right now where I need to go constantly in order to feel I am moving forward at a strong pace,
3) stay true and authentically you ,
Noone can do you, like you can.
So never pretend to be anyone other than who and what you are .. what is meant for you cannot miss you !!! So never be someone else .
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
As a songwriter I often collaborate with other talented and innovative writers . I believe we are stronger together and as I grow I gain strength courage and finesse my craft with more seasoned writers than myself ,
Sometimes they are more in tuned w a part of one life’s passages than I am ,..Sometimes they are used to a different genre and our combination makes it more cutting edge as a team .
I have recently been blessed to have written with some amazing talents as i mentioned Jackie’s got , Gemini and Damon Sharpe . ). Jeff franzel n alex Forbes ( taylor d) as well . Recently
Melissa Manchester , we just wrote whisper Surrender and famed Freestyle artist ,Corinna she n I just wrote ,” shine “ w Jackie’s boy , I am also beginning a track co write ,collaboration with Luv Foundation Uk and so excited about this as well !! In addition to a new “big band house “style track w Alex Jeff n Gemini ,,
Being an artist who likes to write w different people a lot 🙂 I am always thrilled to get an outreach and surprise opportunity from an artist I don’t know ,,

I recently dreamt we wrote a song together called “ purple buttons “ he is the most talented singer songwriter performer and a true rock star for his efforts to help humanity in many ways ..as we all know
