Meet Ashley Rocha

We were lucky to catch up with Ashley Rocha recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Finding your purpose begins with taking the time for deep self-reflection. Life is busy and that chaos can really get in the way of finding clarity. It’s about creating the space to discover what truly excites you, while also being willing to let go of things that no longer bring you joy, even if they’re working or serving a purpose at that current moment.

I’ve always felt a deep drive to create, but discovering my true purpose meant channeling that creativity into something meaningful. By blending my personal experiences with the knowledge I’ve gained, I found a way to make a real impact and bring purposeful ideas to life.

I’ve always been fascinated by the natural world and the incredible healing power of plants—a passion my mother, a horticulturist and herbalist, nurtured in me from a young age. My own hormonal health journey was life-changing, pushing me to explore plant-based medicine as a path to healing. That experience not only restored my health but also revealed my purpose: to share the power of plants and help others achieve lasting well-being.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Hormonal imbalances impact nearly 80% of women, showing up as mood swings, fatigue, brain fog, period pain, and an overall sense of imbalance. I know this struggle firsthand—I battled PMDD for years, with symptoms that traditional healthcare often dismissed. When I later faced fertility challenges, it became clear that women need better solutions. We must be proactive about our health because the current healthcare system isn’t.

My personal journey, combined with my training as a herbalist, inspired me to create Ladywell—a brand on a mission to transform how women care for their hormonal health. We craft targeted, life-stage supplements that support women through PMS, PMDD, perimenopause, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and overall hormone balance. To deliver truly holistic solutions, I brought together an exceptional team of doctors who blend diverse perspectives in women’s health. Our approach fuses the wisdom of Eastern medicine—Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine—with the science of Western herbalism and conventional medicine. By merging nature with proven science, we create powerful, effective solutions for women’s wellness.

It’s incredibly important to me that our supplements are the cleanest and safest on the market. The supplement industry is largely unregulated—like the wild west—which means many products can contain hidden toxins or endocrine disruptors that quietly disrupt hormones and fertility. When it comes to women’s health, there’s no room for compromise. That’s why every Ladywell product is rigorously tested to meet the highest standards of quality and safety, giving women the peace of mind they deserve.

In addition to our products, I am working on creating a wealth of resources and educational content to raise awareness about hormonal health and to break down the stigma surrounding women’s wellness. My ultimate goal is to make hormone care mainstream and accessible for all women, no matter where they are on their journey. Women’s hormonal health has been overlooked or misunderstood for too long. At Ladywell, we are putting hormones front and center because I truly believe that hormone balance is key to a fulfilling, vibrant life. Let’s celebrate hormones!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Resilience is often the key difference between success and failure—the ability to keep pushing forward, even when everything feels stacked against you. In entrepreneurship and life, setbacks are inevitable, but how you respond to them defines your path. Without resilience, I would’ve given up long ago because running a business brings new challenges every single day. It’s that unwavering determination to keep going that makes all the difference.

Work Ethic is the foundation of lasting success. Building a business or career takes consistent effort, discipline, and the willingness to do the hard work—even when motivation wanes. As a founder, you’re constantly learning and tackling tasks you never expected (or wanted) to do. My strong work ethic pushes me to keep growing and making progress every day, even when the work isn’t glamorous. You can’t coast as a founder—you have to show up, stay productive, and make things happen.

Executional Chops have been a major force in driving my success. I have the ability to turn ideas into reality, bridging the gap between vision and action. While strategy and big ideas are important, it’s execution that makes them happen. There are countless great ideas in the world, but few people have the focus, dedication, and drive to bring them to life—and that’s where I thrive.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I’m looking for a marketing partner to help grow Ladywell. Marketing is the heartbeat of any CPG brand, and I’m seeking a growth and/or content marketer to join me in making hormone care accessible and enjoyable for all women. Ideally, this person is passionate about women’s health and has hands-on experience scaling a consumer product brand. If you’re ready to help revolutionize hormone wellness, let’s connect!

We’re also on the lookout for brand ambassadors and affiliates to join us and help spread the word about Ladywell. Let’s work together to make a positive impact!
